What we’re about

Welcome to The C.H.A.N.G.E. Project (TCP) Meetup Group!

C.H.A.N.G.E. = Capable Hands Acting to Nurture, Grow, and Elevate.

TCP Meetup Group:
Please note that this Meetup group is an arm of our broader TCP initiative. Our website, which contains more information about our work, will be launched in December! Our regular schedule of Meetup events will also begin that month.

In the meantime, please read the information below for some general information about TCP, what we will be using this group for, and some of the topics and themes we cover. In the meantime, please read the information below and DM or email us with any questions.

TCP Overview:
The C.H.A.N.G.E. Project (TCP) is an innovative education and training program that focuses on providing practical & accessible skill building opportunities related to self-improvement, shifting mindset, and mental wellness.

Our program initiatives are co-created and co-led by Paris (a certified coach, artist, and social architect) and Elizabeth (a licensed psychotherapist, actor, and filmmaker), both experienced professionals who enjoy facilitating self-empowerment opportunities for individuals who are ready to lean into change so they can experience a more purposeful, fulfilling, and productive life (while also building their community & social networks).

Intentional Community:
TCP also has developed an intentional community hub made up of those we work with. Through this space, our members get to practice and discuss what they've learned or are working on with peers in different environments (online and in-person exclusive standard and experiential settings). Within the TCP community, we also curate intentional spaces where members have to meet certain criteria to participate in a set program area. More on that below.

TCP Intention, Goal, and Objective:
Our objective is to help you move along a pathway of change, healing, and transition and support you with establishing a plan for success in the areas of your life that matter most.

We aim to promote a growth mindset in our community group and those we work with (more directly) while everyone increases their capacity to manage and navigate self limiting thoughts, troubling feelings, and problem behaviors they are ready to identify, process and work on. We also focus on addressing complex life experiences, topics, and events that are challenging to process, discuss, and overcome.

How We Work:
We do our work through workshops, courses, tailored training as well as community & social events (online and in-person). There will be a fee for those who wish to access and benefit from our space and some of our exclusive offerings & content.
We are curating an intentional TCP community & membership to provide added support for those who wish to build capacity, healthy relationships, and to also "do the work" to maintain the growth they've experienced in those areas.

We have additional approaches, including 1:1 Psychotherapy and Coaching Packages, and offerings (ie: follow up check-ins) as well. More details will be shared soon. Also, be sure to keep an eye out for our blogs, website launch date, online store and more (including our social media presence)!

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion & Disclaimer:
While the TCP is an inclusive initiative, some of our workshops, courses, training (and events) will be curated and designed as intentional spaces for women only, men only, (etc.) although most of our work will be co-ed.

Our approach to have intentional spaces is done to help acknowledge and respect the unique lived experiences, religious requirements, and safety issues (etc.) that some women and men need to shift through their stages of change. As well, please note we are not a political group and centre our work around being client centered, trauma informed, and culturally competent to all.

TCP Membership & Other Fees:
To join the TCP’s Meetup group (which is part of the TCP Community Hub, we have an annual membership fee of $15CDN for the year. Payments can be sent via EFT (for Canadian-based members) and by Paypal for those living outside of Canada who will be participating in online events only. Please note that those who are outside of Canada will have a fee of $15USD.

We will continue to update this group description and will also include a membership responsibility section, member benefits, consent & privacy information, and other important details for our TCP membership community.
