Hey guys! You know it’s always big news when Sam Raimi dives back into horror. I mean, it’s actually been 16 years since Drag Me to Hell, so this is a bit of an event. I think we can all agree that his style — that mix of chaotic madness and twisted humour — has been unmistakable ever since Evil Dead II. So, on that note, let’s celebrate his return and meet up for a Film & Social!

This will also be the first of two Raimi-related horror releases this year, including the upcoming Evil Dead Burns (which he’s producing). You might want to join our Evil Dead Burns Meetup later this year too!

We’ll have our usual comfy setup (final details updated closer to the date). After the film, we’ll regroup for a relaxed review session and swap reactions — and, as always, we’ll be sharing scores and highlights over on our Letterboxd page.

It’s shaping up to be a chilly Saturday afternoon at the beach… but with great company, great conversation, and a proper film-lover vibe.
