🐵 Leave those damn monkeys alone… or they might just show you how human they can be!

👋 Hey guys! It looks like we’ve got another monkey going wild on the big screen, and as a huge fan of last year’s The Monkey, I’m totally down for another one going mad, especially if it means we might tick him off!

Primate is the new horror film by Johannes Roberts, and it follows a tropical vacation gone awry when Ben, a family’s adopted chimpanzee, is bitten by a rabid animal and suddenly turns violent. The film premiered at Fantastic Fest with positive reviews, so I expect nothing more than a thrilling ride!

We’ll set up our usual evening drinks at the Victory House Wine Bar before heading off for a night of wild, bloody chills at the Vue Cinema (Screen 9). I’ll be in seat A6 in full view of that chimp, but feel free to grab any other seat if you're too scared. And of course, we’ll wrap this up with our Letterboxd Review.

By the way, I do enjoy monkey business, but monkeys that go rogue I love even more, so let’s see what this one wants to do!
