πŸ“Ό Step into a neon dreamscape where reality flickers!

πŸ‘‹ Hi guys! Join me for a surrealist psychological horror film written and directed by Jane Schoenbrun. This film is widely interpreted as a poignant, haunting allegory for identity and repression featuring a 90s nostalgia-driven aesthetic.

The film follows two teenagers, Owen and Maddy, who bond over a mysterious, canceled late-night TV show, causing their realities to crack.

We’ll meet for a relaxed drink at Victory House Wine Bar before heading to Prince Charles Cinema. The film’s on Screen 1 and I’ll be on seat F10 if anyone wants to join me. After the film we’ll chat about it and review it for Letterboxd.

Let's carry that haunted feeling long after the screen fades to black.

See you all there,
matt
