BYOB & join us virtually (at your own pace) & feel free to join the discussion whenever it fits! Sept-Dec of this year we plan on diving into "One Hundred Years of Solitude" by Gabriel GarcΓa MΓ‘rquez.
After reading, we'll take a poll on watching the adaptation on Netflix to keep the conversation going!
If you are on Storygraph our readalongs are listed there as well: https://app.thestorygraph.com/readalongs/01a362d3-2bc9-4ad0-b44b-d96e71284696
Over the course of this reading journey, we will follow seven generations of the BuendΓa family and witness the rise and fall of their mythical town, Macondo.
This is a book filled with ghosts, flying carpets, political wars, and deep family secrets. Because it has a lot of characters with the exact same names, it can get a little confusing! We are reading it together so we can share family trees, talk about our favorite magical moments, and help each other unpack the deep themes of love, time, and solitude.
