With all the rain and snow the Catalinas have received, the Falls should be flowing strong! We'll take the tram this time ($3 per person) to the Bear Canyon Trailhead and hike in 2.5 miles to the Falls. There are seven easy stream crossings on the way. After the 7th crossing, the trail climbs up the South wall of Bear Canyon on a couple of long switchbacks and then heads up-canyon. Seven Falls is a gorge on the North wall of Bear Canyon with a series of waterfalls and pools. Optional lunch afterwards at Acacia Real Food & Cocktails 3001 E. Skyline Drive Tucson 520.232.0101

Carpool: 7:30am Einstein Bagels 4803 E. Ray Rd. Ahwatukee on the West side of I-10 and Ray.

Directions: Take I-10 South to Ina Rd. Exit 248 and turn Left. After 7 miles, Ina becomes E. Skyline Drive. Follow this for 2 miles, then veer slightly Right on Sunrise Drive. Follow this about 6.2 miles to N. Sabino Canyon Rd. and turn Left. The Visitor Center will be on the Right. $5 entry fee per Vehicle.

Bring: 3-4 liters water, snacks, hat, sunscreen, camera & $3 cash for the Tram + $1 voluntary donation to the 3H fund!
