West Fork Oak Creek Trail Hike - Sedona

You won't be disappointed by the scenic West Fork Oak Creek Trail. This hike offers a beautiful array of scenery, from towering red rocks to vibrant fall foliage. The 7-mile trail has mild elevation changes and includes 13 creek crossings, so be prepared to get your feet wet.

### What to Bring

Since you'll be crossing the creek multiple times, be prepared to swim and have your gear get wet. Bring a dry bag (or even a few heavy-duty trash bags) to protect your phone and other equipment. The creek bed can be slick, so consider bringing hiking poles for extra stability.

### Itinerary

I have not done this hike but fellow HHH member, Colby, has and he will be joining us for the hike.

• 6:45 a.m. - Meet to Carpool: We'll meet at the Target at 2727 Agua Fria Fwy, Phoenix, AZ 85027. I'll be wearing a green hat and will be parked across from the main entrance (Otherside of the parking Lot).
• The drive to the trailhead is about two hours.
• Arrive at Call of the Canyon - 9.5 miles north of Sedona: https://maps.app.goo.gl/dWSPu8KxjE2cZDPZ8
• Day-use: $15 per vehicle (up to 5 people). Interagency passes such as the America the Beautiful pass are not accepted

Time on trail: Not sure. Creek crossings are not fast, plus we will be stopping to enjoy the beauty and to swim. Lets say 7 hours - Could be shorter or could be longer.

We will probably be back to Target before 7:00.
