Join us for a delightful Port Hope Day Trip featuring Waitress, a hilarious, heartwarming, hit musical as well as a delicious lunch and shopping!

The Day Trip:

• First stop is Primitive Designs, a treasure trove of global arts and crafts that has been delighting visitors for over 19 years in Port Hope. Wander through this vibrant marketplace and let the music of Bali, Thailand, Nepal, Morocco, India, and Vietnam whisk you away to far-off lands—all in one unforgettable visit.
• Next, we’ll enjoy a relaxing lunch at the Railside Restaurant. You’ll have the opportunity to choose your entrée from a tempting menu when you arrive.
• Then, at 2 p.m., the curtain rises at the Capitol Theatre Port Hope for the acclaimed musical Waitress. Follow Jenna, a talented pie-maker, as she dreams of a brighter future beyond her small town and troubled marriage. With music and lyrics by Sara Bareilles, this charming show promises a “little slice of heaven” that’s sure to warm your heart.
• After the performance, there will be time to browse the charming shops of Port Hope before we head back home, full of memories and maybe a few new treasures in hand.

   Pickup***** is at 8:30 a.m. on the east side of Islington Avenue, just north of Bloor Street, at the street-level entrance to the subway station (northeast corner of Bloor & Islington). *Arrive arrive at 8:15 a.m.
2. York Mills Subway Station (North York)
   Pickup***** is 9 a.m. on the east side of Yonge Street, just north of York Mills Road. *Arrive at 8:45 a.m.
