The Day Trip:
- Enjoy a delicious lunch at the Stratford Country Club, with your choice of chicken or salmon as your entrée.
- If you opt for no lunch, you can browse around Stratford until showtime.
- At 2 p.m. take your seat in the Orchestra at the Avon Theatre for a bold reimagining of Shakespeare’s darkest tragedy Macbeth.
- Three witches foretell Macbeth’s rise to power, sparking a dark journey of ambition and bloodshed. But who is truly to blame — fate, prophecy, or Macbeth’s own secret desires?
- Visionary Director Robert Lepage tells the tale of power and guilt against the backdrop of the biker wars of the 1990s. Don’t miss this gripping, unconventional take on Shakespeare’s most haunting play.
