DRAYTON DAY TRIP | Mennonite-Style Lunch + 1970s Musical Review — $165 all fees

Join us for a delightful day trip with a visit to Elmira’s Kitchen Kuttings offering specialty foods prepared by Mennonites, a hearty Mennonite-style lunch at Bonnie Lou’s Café in the nearby village of Floradale, and an afternoon of groovy nostalgia at the Drayton Festival Theatre with Yesterday Once More, a high-energy musical revue of the unforgettable hits of the ’70s. The show is produced by Drayton Entertainment, which is the third largest not-for-profit, professional theatre company in Ontario.

Our group will pay $165, everything included. Only 5 spots are available for this day trip. Please follow the HOW TO PAY instructions below to pay for your ticket(s).

The Day Trip:

• Our day begins with a stop at Kitchen Kuttings, a Mennonite specialty food stop, located in Elmira, where you can find an assortment of homemade jams, pickles, preserves, both Canadian and imported fresh-cut cheeses, homemade summer sausage, old fashioned fudge, brittle, and a range of specialty local food. • Next up is a wonderful Mennonite-style, home cooked lunch at Bonnie Lou’s Café in the rural village of Floradale (near Elmira), with an entrée choice of chicken or beef.
• At 2 p.m., it’s showtime at the Drayton Festival Theatre for a professional-produced musical review Yesterday Once More.
• Put on your bell-bottoms, and be transported on a joyful journey back to the ‘70s – considered one of the best in the history of pop music – and relive a plethora of groundbreaking hits from Elton John, The Rolling Stones, Gladys Knight, The Carpenters, Stevie Wonder, and so many more.
• A decade of emblematic change, the ’70s invoked cultural, political, and technological shifts that forever influenced the global landscape.
• The show is a nostalgic celebration of the unforgettable sounds that shaped the minds and attitudes of an entire generation. Groovy!

   Pickup is 8:30 a.m. on the east side of Yonge Street, just north of York Mills Road. Arrive at 8:10 a.m. MAP
2. Islington Subway Station (Etobicoke)
   Pickup is at 9 a.m. on the east side of Islington Avenue, just north of Bloor Street, at the street-level entrance to the subway station (northeast corner of Bloor & Islington). Arrive arrive at 8:40 a.m. MAP
