Welcome to Tokyo Fun Language Exchange.
Join our fun, small, and friendly language exchange events.
You’ll be in a group of just 2 or 3 people, and rotate groups approximately every 25 minutes.
Don’t worry if you are a beginner!

One thing we do require is that you have a proper Meetup profile name. Please use your GIVEN NAME + your FAMILY NAME, or your GIVEN NAME + your FAMILY NAME INITIAL. We will allow you at least 30 minutes after joining to update it.
Why is it necessary? This helps event organisers identify you a little more easily. Thank you for understanding.

- Please arrive BEFORE 7.30pm for name registration and payment.
- Official start time: 7.35pm.
We will start early if a few participants are ready.
If you are going to be late, please ensure you let us know your expected arrival time.

The event fee for the language exchange is ¥1000.
Why is the event fee not ¥750?
- We now need to cover the costs to rent rooms. You save money by not paying ¥500+ for a cafe drink. You can bring your own from a vending machine or convenience store. but please make sure you take all of your garbage home with you. You will also get 15 minutes extra conversation time, compared to our previous events in Jimbocho,All abilities are welcome.
🚩🚩Please refrain from requesting contact information (Line, Facebook, Instagram etc) from your conversation partner unless you have met several times. If you would like to share information (eg webpage details) please simply write it down on paper.

Do you speak any of these languages well (intermediate level or higher)? Chinese Mandarin, French, German, Italian, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, & Spanish.We have a team of participants who regularly attend these events for a much lower fee, and sometimes receive some money too.
