Courage isn’t something we simply switch on. Between the fear we feel and the courageous actions we choose lies a rich, liminal space where reflection and insight help us find our next step. In this 90-minute guided journaling workshop, author and facilitator Jenn Baljko invites participants to explore that space through writing prompts, reflective exercises, and experiential practices. Drawing on ideas from her book *The In Between*, this interactive session offers a welcoming space to explore how stories of fear and courage shape the choices we make. No writing experience is needed, and a workbook will be provided. Bring your favorite pen, some curiosity, and a willingness to explore the curves of your own spiral path. Hi ladies. We will meet in front of the Nature Center and head to the two Observation decks. We will then hike Hickory Ridge, Ripple Rock, Overlook and Sugarbush trails to get approximately four miles total distance. We will walk approximately a 18 minute mile pace. Please wear appropriate hiking shoes.

We meet to learn and practice American Sign Language and to grow our familiarity with Deaf culture. Facilitated by hearing folks (with a connection to a professional interpreter) using Deaf-created content. People of all ASL skill levels are welcome! As we learn, we hope to connect more with the Deaf community in Central Ohio. Join us as you're able! Come regularly or just once - whatever you're looking for! We'll hike four miles at Walnut Woods, which is generally a pretty easy hike - doing the Sweetgum Trail Loop and then out and back on the Monarch Loop to get us to 4 miles.
