Hello lovely Wytchery people! The next Wytchery workshop is open for booking now for Wednesday 13th May 7-9pm. As usual, it is at Treadwells Bookshop in London. This workshop is all about spells and hexes, how to create one that will work for you and how to add to your craft using and charging objects such as herbs, crystals and other objects. We will have a discussion about the various types of spells, the ethics behind them and the ways in which you can develop and use them. You will make a small poppet, stuffed with magical intent and we will have a short ritual to charge it up and help you learn new ways of raising power in ritual to enhance your spell work. Hope to see you there! **We are asking for a fee of £10 (+booking fee) to cover Treadwell’s overheads as well as the cost of any supplies. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early as we start promptly at 7pm.** The Wytchery is an inclusive and welcoming space for solitary witches with little or no experience working with a group. We believe that magic is for everyone, and we strive to create a safe and supportive environment where you can feel free to be yourself. Our workshops are perfect for those who are new to the craft or haven't had much experience working in a group. You're free to drop in and out as you please, and you'll get hands-on experience with all sorts of magical goodies, from raising power and working spells to creating talismans and magical tools. We're all about getting involved, whether that's through movement, crafting, or meditation. You'll meet new people, learn new skills, and have the chance to contribute to our little community. We're not in this to make a profit – we just want to create a lovely, social space for like-minded witches to come together and learn from each other. We're always learning, and we're sure you'll find something to inspire you. hone your skills, you would also be most welcome to join us. We find we learn new things all the time, even after years of magical practice.
Friendly Chess in Russell Square
Friendly Chess in Russell Square
A laid-back lunchtime of friendly chess in the charming surroundings of Russell Square, Bloomsbury (or in The Atrium Cafe of The Imperial Hotel across the road, if it rains). Whether you're new in town and looking to meet new people, craving some social games, or live/work/study nearby, all are welcome. Chess sets are available to borrow, and there are optional food/drinks from the cafe next to the chess tables. Please don't bring outside food/drinks (other than water), and buy something if you use a cafe table (no need when using the chess tables, which have boards printed on them). This will be a hosted event - if you're the first to arrive, you'll see your host sitting at one of the chess tables with a chess set. Feel free to write in the event to confirm you're going and encourage others to come along. Most of those attending are from other social media groups, so numbers are usually higher than they appear here. Have fun! :)

Foraging for Healing Herbs -Adele Nozedar
Discover traditional plants for contemporary healing, charms, remedies and rituals with this book that functions as a missing link between the lost stories, hidden powers, and healing gifts of the wild herbs we pass by every day. Steeped in magic and folklore, this book by bestselling author Adele Nozedar encourages us to slow down, notice the seasons and spot the herbs, trees and flowers all around us. Organized by nine habitats, from shady plants of the meadows to secret plants of the town, discover: • Properties of 81 plants • More than 30 recipes for food, drink and home remedies • Photographs for easy identification • Historic uses, folk stories, myths and more. This charming book is the perfect way to unearth the little-known herbal treasures hiding in plain sight all around us – and to discover just how much they can give us.

[🎟️ Purchase Ticket Here 🎟️](https://dandelion.events/e/o2pky) ## TAROT MINOR ARCANA COURSE In this course, we will explore the 56 Minor Arcana in depth, uncovering how they speak to the rhythms of everyday life from emotions and relationships to work, challenges, and personal growth. We’ll approach the Minor Arcana through three core lenses: * **Numerical Value:** understanding the progression from Ace to Ten as a journey, revealing cycles of initiation, development, tension, and completion * **The Four Suits** : Cups, Swords, Wands, and Pentacles, each representing a different element and dimension of human experience (emotional, mental, creative, and material) * **Archetypes & Symbolism:** learning to read beyond keywords and connect with the deeper patterns and stories each card expresses ![](https://r2.dandelion.events/2026/03/25/14/31/10/44b4b762-863f-4ef7-ac91-6949290f66fe/PHOTO-2026-03-25-08-24-07.jpg) We will also dive into the **Court Cards**, often seen as some of the most nuanced and complex figures in the deck. Through personality systems and archetypal frameworks, you’ll learn how to interpret them as: * Different character types and psychological traits * Energies we embody at different stages of life * Reflections of real people and relational dynamics in readings This course is rooted in the **Marseille Tarot**, known for its rich symbolic language, which encourages intuitive and interpretive reading. However, you are warmly invited to bring any deck you feel connected to - each one carries its own visual language, and sharing these perspectives will deepen the collective experience. Whether you are new to tarot or looking to deepen your practice, this course will help you move from memorisation to intuitive understanding, building confidence in your readings and your personal connection to the cards. FREE Tea and Homemade Biscuits will be available during the course. ### **VENUE** ![](https://dandelion.ams3.digitaloceanspaces.com/2025/02/02/18/24/22/a4a8ebee-b3a6-446a-94e7-aea261762acf/Screenshot%202025-02-02%20at%2017.41.19.png) Join us at 3pm on Sunday 19th April at **21 Sid Coffee,** a cosy cafe and bakery in London Fields.

**The creative practice of writing thought experiments gives you the opportunity to:** * investigate ideas (old and new) * work your imagination * write creatively and playfully * produce compelling conversation starters that you can share with friends and strangers to provoke great discussions Over the past 3 years, I've written over 200 thought experiments and learned a lot along the way. [Here's a bit more about why I enjoy the practice.](https://experimentsingroupwisdom.substack.com/p/writing-thought-experiments) **In this workshop,** I'll share my process and together we'll create new thought experiments by: * Identifying areas of interest * Gathering ingredients for thought experiments * Imagining scenarios * Constructing narratives * Generating relevant, thought provoking questions * Participating in a round of small group discussions - you can volunteer your new thought experiment, or if you'd rather, you can pick one out of the hat. **By the end of the evening** **we'll have** * had some thought provoking conversations * become familiar with a new method for creative thinking * written our own original material for future group discussions :-) Although we’ll be learning a new technique we'll also be aiming to have **an enjoyable evening, with good humour and fun**. This will be less like school and more like a fun TEiP night out with an additional creative twist. **Who should come:** Everyone! We believe that the more perspectives, the richer the conversation. This group is not about being experts, it is about thinking creatively together and learning new ways to develop and communicate ideas. **Tickets** Space is limited (15-20) people and tickets are £15.
