Rules: 1- This is a paid event ($15). If you rsvp and plan on coming, please send the money to me no less than 48 hours before the game. You can zelle me (3189143325) or Venmo (@Aladdin-Alayoubi). 2- If we get 12- 15 people, we will play 3 teams and we usually keep track of the wins of each team to keep it fun and competitive. 3- FRIENDLY GAME. No slide tackling, rough play, or coaching. 4- It is highly recommended to wear TURF SHOES. However, if you choose to wear cleats and you step on someone foot, you have to leave the game for 1 MIN OUT. 5- In case of disagreement during the game, the host acts as a referee so the game stays smooth and enjoyable to everyone. 6- If you can not make it , you have to cancel ahead of time so we can have others joining. 7- Every player should sub for a goalie and offer to play defense.

JOIN OUR NEW SOCIAL MAHJONGG LEAGUE for weekly game play based on the NMJL (American-style) Mahjongg rules — PLUS some exciting and fun extras, such as more robust games, a completely new new scoring system, and the addition of the MAD JOKER, which can be used for any tile — even pairs and singles! The season consists of 8 weeks of sessions (1x a week) on Wednesdays from January 7 through February 25, 2026 Each session consists of 4 games, some with special themes and/or hands. You see, the ideal number of players for a pickup soccer game is perhaps 6x6 - 8x8; some players won't attend if they think the turnout will be low, and others will just assume the game will be cancelled even though we always play. (As a practical matter, smaller games are less fun since the comics won't have the audience they need, but, they do have two hidden benefits: shorter, more intense games/workouts and fewer face kicks/yellow cards. So we play no matter how small or large.) So non-RSVPers are a little short sighted, since they don't seem to want to maximize their own enjoyment in the long run. No-shows without cancellation would make you lose your spot the next game. To play, you must register for each meetup (on a first come first served basis). Once the Meetups are full, there is a waiting list and you can still get a seat if players cancel. If you are not on the list, please do not drop by, as we can only play with a maximum of players. LATE DROPOFF POLICY: Late drop-offs will incur a 1-week suspension.
