La propuesta de esta actividad es hacer una caminata dominical, recorriendo el espléndido parque que sigue el curso del Torrente de Vallparadís de Terrassa, hasta llegar al Castillo de los Recuerdos: construcción singular donde las haya, comenzada desde cero en la década de 1960 por el albañil y anticuario terrassenc Jacinto García Mas, *Cinto (1929- 2024).* El castillo de *Cinto* se sitúa por derecho propio en la misma órbita que arquitecturas como la Catedral de Justo, en Mejorada del Campo (Madrid), o el histórico palacio del cartero Cheval en Francia: palacio que fue celebrado por los artistas de su época - especialmente por los surrealistas- y que finalmente se popularizó a través de la película *"El Palacio ideal" (2018).* El recorrido es de unos 7 kilómetros, y transcurre por la zona natural del parque y por zonas urbanizadas. Iremos desde Barcelona a Terrassa en el tren de Renfe, y volveremos desde Les Fonts en los Ferrocarrils Catalans. Aportación voluntaria

So we’ve decided to create a film club in the hope that there are other people out there who feel the same; who will enjoy exploring their own perspectives as well as others beyond justifying why you like or dislike a film. There is no judgement of films here. A-movie, B-movie, high-brow, low-brow, smart, dumb. This will be an open-discussion. There’ll be themes and certain films chosen but respectful interruptions and questions will be welcome throughout. To paraphrase Bong Joon-ho, once you overcome your knee-jerk judgement of a film, you can be introduced to so many more amazing films. This is a new meetup and the format may change. But for now, we will not show whole films at the event. Instead they will be announced beforehand and then discussed with clips at the event. We hope in the future, different hosts will choose different topics to focus on ranging from the universal like the essence of a story, to the practical minutia of film-making like cinematography, lighting or sound. Buenas de nuevo a los gatos curiosos! **The RPG School Initiative** a *beginner-focused* one-shot event series RPG School offers a beginner-focused, relaxed atmosphere to experience the joy of table-top roleplaying gaming for the first time. We will show you the ropes and dice, take you on a fun adventure and are prepared for all your questions. No prior experience with roleplaying or the system is needed. We will be playing Daggerheart, a new Fantasy RPG by Critical Role, using a world called Beast Feast: A bit absurd, certainly comedic, sometimes creepy, but always fun and silly. You will be playing with three to four other players at one table, the assignment happens during the event. We start each adventure with a short introduction, where you learn about the basics and pick your pre-made character. Afterwards we dive into a unique experience, explaining the rules and concepts while actually playing the game. At the end, we have time to talk and find connections as well as hear your thoughts and questions. All games are in English. This is a group for adults who want to ground in nature and connect to their creative selves in a warm and supportive environment. We'll meet weekly for 13 weeks (beginning June 26th) at a goat farm in Silver Spring, MD. We'll begin with a goat walk. That's right, we'll walk through the woods with goats and then focus on the chapters of Julia Cameron's book, *Walking in This World.* Maybe you want to dive deeper after having completed a facilitated group based on Cameron's first book, *The Artist's Way* or you want to jump right into exploring your inner landscape through writing and grounding in nature. Since the in-person portion of the group will be held at a private residence, I'll email registrants the address once they've signed up. Please dress in comfy clothes that might possibly be nibbled on by adorable goats, as the residence is also a goat farm. Wear closed toed shoes and feel free to bring water, a snack for yourself, bug spray and sunblock. In-person attendees will meet at 7 am. In the event of more than light rain, we'll skip goat walks and meet in the indoor office. There is an indoor bathroom on-site. For those joining on-line, plan to join at 7:30 am. You'll also need something to write with and a copy of the book.

Your monetary donations help cover much-needed medical expenses for homeless and at-risk animals. This event will be 5-8pm on the last Friday of every month at the October One Vineyard tasting shop in Downtown Leesburg. This event is free to the public, so stop by and raise a glass. HSLC will be on hand to answer questions and let you know about available animals. Let’s “cheer” up our local area animals in need!
