Ole will take a step back to see what’s driving the evolution of testing as adoption of Cloud Native technologies and AI for code generation attempts to drive velocity through the roof. How can engineering and platform teams deliver on the need for continuous testing as a scalable approach to quality assurance across the enterprise? Taking place on the first Wednesday of every month this is an open stage night for London based electronic and experimental musicians. This night is aimed at giving local artists a supportive space in which to play live and experiment, and socialise with like minded people. Seeking all forms of electronic/experimental music including: ambient, soundtrack, dance, techno, noise, electropop, drone, glitch, experimental hip-hop, field recordings, electrojazz, chiptune, looping, synthwave, trance, live coding, sound design, etc. Get out of your home studio or bedroom, and come out to a fun, supportive night with other enthusiastic tech heads, dabblers and music fans. You don’t need to be an established artist with a full repertoire. This is for anyone who wants to try their hand at playing live in a safe, motivating environment. Phone apps, gadgets, drum machines, loop stations, groove boxes, DJ controllers, sequencers, samplers, modular synths, computers, digital boxes, loose change and a contact mic .. and everything in between…All welcome! Come out and meet other music makers, producers and creative types from all walks of music making. There should be plenty of time to talk gear, production techniques and a whole range of inspiring ideas. Event will run from roughly 7pm-11.00pm with wiggle room depending on interest. Slots are up to 15 minutes (including set-up and play). The pre-booked slots (6 in total) have all gone but we do have additional walk-in slots available on the night. First come first served, but we usually get a slot for everyone who wants one. There is a small main stage, full live-music speaker system, and a sound engineer that will handle mixing to the main PA. We will have a table for you to setup on, and another one to the side, for the next performer to prep/wrap their gear. This is a live session at The Mitre in Greenwich. Please note that Katie Lumsden will be hosting this session. The purpose of this meeting is to provide and receive critique on submitted extracts of members' creative writing, whether they're working on a novel, screenplay, poetry, a memoir or short story, etc. We share our extracts via email ahead of the meeting to give us all a chance to read the work in our own time and reflect upon it so as to be able to provide useful critique. If you want to submit an extract mail me at gpatrick66@hotmail.com to book a slot. If you are new to the group we ask that you participate in at least two of the Wednesday critiquing sessions before you submit work for review so that you get to know us and have a good understanding of how we operate. This will help you to get the most from a critique of your own work. Extracts should be approx 3,000 words and the full document (extract plus blurbs, questions etc) should not exceed 3,500 words in total. Extracts must be mailed to Katie Lumsden (katie.lumsden@googlemail.com) at the latest by 9pm on the Saturday before the session so that she can share your work with the rest of the group. We have a limit of 4 extracts per session to give adequate time to review work properly. Feel free to give guidance on any specific areas on which you would like feedback. E.g. The group is friendly and relaxed, so please don't feel nervous about sharing your work! Get your kids book written! This is an un-hosted meetup for anyone who wants to come and write for a couple of hours in the company of other kids writers. It's a great way to move your project forward in a lovely arty atmosphere. The only rules are to say hello to other writers and leave them to work until 8:30 when you are free to have a chat. Caravaggio adopted *chiaroscuro* lighting in his paintings in the 16th century. *Chiaroscuro* is an Italian term referencing the contrast of light (chiar) and dark (oscuro) to model three-dimensional forms. It is the only museum in the UK dedicated to showcasing contemporary fashion and textile design.
