Notre balade, au bord et pas loin du canal de l'Ourcq, nous emmènera découvrir certains de ces bâtiments au passé industriel mais qui sont maintenant utilisés pour montrer des expositions d'art. Plein de choses à voir et des lieux à l'histoire intéressante, donc plein de raisons de venir. On commencera devant la gare de RER Pantin et on finira pas loin du métro Raymond Queneau (L5). Our walk, next to and close by the canal, will let us discover some of these buildings that used to be used by industrial companies and now host art exhibitions. Join us for a long pose workshop with a female model, led by figurative artist John Kelly. The session consists of 45 minutes of drawing or painting, followed by a 15-minute break, and then another 45 minutes with the same pose. John will be present throughout the entire session to offer individual guidance on the principles of drawing and painting from life. If you prefer a more self-directed approach, you are welcome to work independently at any time. The workshop is suitable for both beginners and more experienced artists. It offers a supportive environment to develop your artistic style while exploring different aspects of academic drawing or painting, experimenting with new techniques, or refining compositional ideas. It's designed to guide your exploration of the human form through an anatomical lens while capturing the model's emotional presence. Join us for a special **Drawing Northern Virginia meetup** as we celebrate **Ellen’s retirement** with a relaxed morning of sketching at **Paradise Springs Winery**. Paradise Springs is a beautiful historic winery with scenic grounds, vineyards, and outdoor seating. It’s a great place to relax, draw, and spend time together as a community.
