WWDC Watch Party: Apple's New Direction
WWDC Watch Party: Apple's New Direction
**Apple is about to change how your customers buy.** If you think WWDC is just a technical event for developers, you are missing the biggest market shift of the year. This is where Apple drops the updates that will dictate consumer behavior for the next 12 months. These hardware and software changes could open a massive new lane for our businesses. Or they could completely break the tools you rely on every day. We are gathering at JO&JOE to watch the keynote live. We want to see if the rumors actually happen. Gemini-powered Siri? AI-centric glasses? Tim Cook stepping down? We definitely do not have all the answers. But we want to invite you to figure out what these updates actually mean all of us. June 8th. Arrive at 18:30. The stream starts at 19:00 Budapest time. *(Please note: This is an unofficial, community-driven watch party. The event is completely free to attend and is not officially affiliated with or sponsored by Apple.)* See you there, Bence & Nándi

## **Pope vs. AI?—Current Events Social: Life's big 'AI' questions!** Get ready for a fun combo of philosophical musing and current events. Even global leaders and tech pioneers are pausing to ask what comes next. Following the Vatican’s recent warnings on AI safety and Anthropic co-founder Christopher Olah’s admission that these questions are *"bigger than the AI research community,"* it’s time for us to weigh in! Here are 3 big questions we’ll dive into around our friendly table: 1️⃣ **Who holds the remote control?** As algorithms take over decision-making, how do we ensure humanity always retains ultimate control? 2️⃣ **Are we risking "digital slavery"?** With warnings comparing unchecked AI to historical exploitation, how do we prevent technology from dehumanizing workers and users? 3️⃣ **What makes us human—and not more and more like AI?** As machines get smarter, how do we safeguard our unique human connection, creativity, and imagination? 📰 **Useful link:** We may use this article to guide our discussion: [https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cedppn6002jo](https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cedppn6002jo) Bring your curiosity and your best skepticism. Teszt és Tea @Raiffeisen - AI a tesztelésben – Hype helyett valódi hatékonyság
Teszt és Tea @Raiffeisen - AI a tesztelésben – Hype helyett valódi hatékonyság
Sziasztok!

Creative Writing Budapest
Creative Writing Budapest
**This week's venue: Beer People \| Lázár utca 7\, Budapest 1065** We hold a bi-weekly workshop to encourage creative writing where we share pieces of creative writing and solicit feedback from the other attendees. Some members also use the forum to find others with whom to collaborate, edit work, and/or brainstorm plot, themes, settings, and so forth. And from time to time, we participate in competitions, recite and/or offer material for events organized by other groups. At the moment there is no prompt for this particular meetup. Instead, writers are invited to submit something they have (or are working on) or to craft a short story specifically for the event. Of course, there's no pressure to submit something. Many participants are interested in hearing ideas, questioning the authors, and examining style and technique. Often, we explore other published works as well. The submission guidelines are as follows: 1. limit the piece to 850 words (to give enough time for any other submissions being read at the event); 2. make the text available (though you can read it aloud) for the other attendees. Many authors bring a few printed copies, others post their work in the comments of the meetup; 3. have a question in mind for the group about the submission; and, 4. If offering something from a longer work, be prepared to give a little bit of background first.

DevBP #16: Ship Happens
DevBP #16: Ship Happens
In the last DevBP meetup before the summer break, we will venture to the world of **Continuous Delivery**, exploring the craft of shipping software safely and continuously — from the practices that keep your releases boring, to the hard-won lessons of building the infrastructure behind a feature toggle. \-\-\- \-\-\- \-\-\- \-\-\- \-\-\- \-\-\- \-\-\- \-\-\- \-\-\- **Continuous Delivery Never Died. It Became a Harness.** with [András Fincza (Draven) - XUND](https://www.linkedin.com/in/andrasfincza/) The PR-centered pipeline was already buckling under big batches, delayed feedback, and overloaded reviewers. Agents just turned up the volume. But the discipline that made CD work in 2015: trunk-based development, fast feedback, sociable testing, feature flags, quality gates. These matter more in 2026, not less. This talk is about what to keep from the old playbook, what to upgrade, and what to stop pretending works. **Building a Feature Flag service** with [Zoltán Dávid - ConfigCat](https://www.linkedin.com/in/zoltan-david/) Everyone knows what a feature flag is. Far fewer know what it takes to build and run a feature flag service at scale. In this talk, we'll go behind the scenes of ConfigCat: the technical decisions, the scaling surprises, and the business lessons that came from serving billions of feature flag evaluations. No introductions to feature flagging, just honest insights from years of building a product in a space where reliability isn't optional. \-\-\- \-\-\- \-\-\- \-\-\- \-\-\- \-\-\- \-\-\- \-\-\- \-\-\- This English-language event will be held at the **Shapr3D office**, where we'll provide snacks and drinks to fuel conversations. Arrival is from 17:30, the presentations start at 18:00. You can also find the recordings of previous events on the [@DevBPMeetup YouTube channel](https://www.youtube.com/@DevBPMeetup).
Transzformáció középvezetői szinten
Transzformáció középvezetői szinten
*Nem a framework a nehéz, hanem az emberek* Egy transzformáció megvisel minden szervezetben dolgozót -pozíciótól függetlenül-. A csapattagok felé számtalan új elvárást kommunikálnak, a felsővezetők hirtelen elkezdenek magasabb szinten tervezni. De mi van a középvezetőkkel? Gyakorlatilag ők lesznek a "transzformációs belső tolmácsok" egyikei. :) [Horányi Emese](https://www.linkedin.com/in/emese-horanyi/), az Uniqa agilis coach-a, perspektívikus coach alkalmazotti szemmel, míg [Spánn Richárd](https://www.linkedin.com/in/rich%C3%A1rd-sp%C3%A1nn-3a56317b/), transzformációs tanácsadóként, külsős szemmel világít rá a lehetőségekre. \-\-\-\- Please note that this event is for Hungarian speakers only.

AI Agents 101: How to Make ChatGPT Do Actual Work
AI Agents 101: How to Make ChatGPT Do Actual Work
Most people still use AI like a search box: type one question, get one answer, repeat. But the next step is AI agents: systems that can take a goal, break it into steps, use tools, remember context, and produce useful work for a human to review. In this beginner-friendly session, we’ll demystify what AI agents actually are — without hype or jargon. We’ll walk through practical examples of how agents can help with research, planning, writing, coding, operations, and personal productivity. We’ll cover: * What makes an AI “agent” instead of just a chatbot * How agents break tasks into steps * Where agents are genuinely useful today * Where they fail, hallucinate, or need human review * How to design simple AI workflows for your own work * A live demo of an AI agent-style workflow from start to finish No coding experience required. This is for anyone who wants to understand where AI tools are going and how to use them more effectively right now. LOGISTICS AND PARKING: The talk starts at 7:00 PM. The first half hour is reserved for everyone to get set up and mingle. Free pizza and drinks! The cheapest parking option is to find street parking, which will only cost you a few bucks. Otherwise, park in the nearby veteran's museum lot for $8. It's highly recommended you avoid the nearby $15 garage parking.
Battle of the personal agents
Battle of the personal agents
Join the Columbus AI community for a special event. **Battle of the Personal Agents** is your chance to see what people are actually building with AI agents and personal automation systems. Whether you’re running OpenClaw, Hermes, or a completely custom solution, bring your agent and show the community how it works. We’re interested in real-world implementations: the problems your agent solves, how you use it day-to-day, how it’s hosted and managed, how you built it, and why you’ve chosen to keep using it. Live demonstrations are encouraged, so be prepared to show your code, architecture, workflows, and your agent performing real tasks. This is less about polished presentations and more about sharing practical experience, comparing approaches, and learning from one another. If you’d like to present, please contact Chris Slee (via meetup) before the event so we can allocate enough time for everyone’s demonstrations. Come ready to show what you’ve built, discover what others are doing, and maybe find a few ideas worth taking home. Whether you’re deep in the field or just getting curious, come connect with others building and exploring AI in Columbus. Sponsored by [Transform Labs](https://www.linkedin.com/company/transformlabs/) Sign up also accessible via [Transform Labs Luma](https://luma.com/transformlabshq)
