If you haven't played in a long while or are just started learning for awhile, don't worry as there are other beginners and you will be able to play with handicaps. Most players start streaming in at 7PM onwards but it's ok to be early or later, whichever is more convenient to your timing. You are free to arrive at any time and leave at any time. Most serious players will play and review their games until 10PM and you are encouraged to do so. If you require a review of your game, you may politely request it from your opponent. Baroque House is excited to share we are launching the Chinese Culture Centre in Chinatown. This interactive space on Pagoda Street will introduce and develop further appreciation of the myriad forms and expressions of our singapore Chinese heritage. Retro Listening Sessions is one of the anchor programs planned at the Centre. Expect a rotation of shellacs, vinyls of various themes from month to month. For the first event, we will be dusting off our old HMV gramophone and belting out some retro tunes.
