Welcome cold lovers! We have been practising cold water plunges for over 4 years. We believe in the benefits of cold water exposure. The feeling you get after the swim is magnificent, it makes you feel alive. We have started this group to safely experience the cold water together. We motivate each other, do active warmup exercises, and also share our life stories with a warm coffee/tea afterwards. The event is every Sunday at 11:30, we meet at the Mythenquai Badi entrance no matter the weather. Take along: a large towel, comfortable bathing suit, flip-flops, and warm clothes (hat, gloves, etc). If you’re planning swimming out take along a bright swim buoy. The event is Free. IMPORTANT: Every participant takes responsibility for themselves when attending this event. Before attempting cold water exposure, individuals with health conditions (e.g., heart problems or hypertension) should seek advice from a healthcare professional. Safely acclimating the body to cold temperatures requires preparation and gradual exposure.

In this workshop we will be exploring the projection of images on the human body to create spectacular images. We will be working with a model and learn about different projection techniques Who is it for --- Photographers with an interest in artful studio photography. Prior studio experience is not required. What to bring --- DSLR or MLC with a 50mm or equivalent lens A tripod - most of the images we'll be shooting will be at low shutterspeed, so a tripod is necessary Some drinks and snacks to keep you powered-up A USB stick with 10 images you would like to project. I have a library with 100 patterns we can use as well. No-Shows --- Since we are incurring expenses to organize this workshop, we expect that people who register actually show-up. Since there have been some problems with this in the past we have had to start a "two strikes and you're out" for no-shows. So, if your plans change, please unregister before the workshop or let us know via other means.

The experience begins by slowing down. **Through soft breathing techniques, guided meditation, and intuitive movement, participants are gently supported in settling both body and mind into a meditative state**. From here, they are invited to imagine and explore an inner space where they feel grounded, safe, and at ease. This process encourages deep listening to the body and emotions, allowing thoughts, sensations, and feelings to naturally arise without judgment. From this calm, reflective state, **participants translate their inner experience onto canvas. With the guidance of an instructor, they are introduced to simple painting techniques and fundamental concepts of color, shape, and composition.** The focus is not on technical perfection, but on expression and intention, learning how visual elements can communicate emotion, mood, and atmosphere.
