Let's back to run !
We will meet by the Magic Fountain (Font Magica de Montjuic ([https://goo.gl/maps/RWPuTcn8htM2](https://goo.gl/maps/RWPuTcn8htM2))) - Plaça de Carles Buïgas at the end of the first stairs - just 2 minutes walking from placa Espana towards Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya.
We'll decide the route on the day.. or just follow Olivier... ;)
We'll meet at 7:30pm but we'll start running at 7:35pm. Please be on time.
Normally we do about 8-10kms in an hour during which we climb to the castle at the top of Montjuic. The accumulated elevation is about 300m depending on the route.
Note that this is *NOT* a beginner's run. It can be quite challenging. We recommend that you only join this run if, on a flat course, you can do 10km in 50mins or less or really like running up hill! If not it might be better to first start with one of the beach runs on Tuesday or Thursday.
Starting from October it is getting dark pretty early and not all the streets of the route have lights. If you have a headlamp please bring it with you but it is not mandotory.

De vuelta en el Montjuic !
Quedamos en la Plaça de Carles Buïgas (donde estÔ la Font Magica de Montjuic), exactamente aquà ([https://goo.gl/maps/RWPuTcn8htM2](https://goo.gl/maps/RWPuTcn8htM2)), al lado de la barandilla que estÔ al final de las primeras escaleras. Si vienes desde plaça Espanya, son 2 minutos caminando en dirección al Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya.
Cada lunes hacemos un recorrido distinto por Montjuic que decidimos en el mismo dĆa⦠o sencillamente seguimos a Olivier⦠;)
Nos encontramos a las 7:30, y empezamos a correr a las 7:35.
Normalmente hacemos mƔs o menos 8-10 km en una hora, subiendo hasta el castillo en la cima de Montjuic, con un desnivel positivo total de cerca de 300 metros.
Es un entrenamiento exigente aunque accesible si ya tienes algo de experiencia corriendo. No estĆ” hecho para debutante. Por favor apĆŗntate solo si puedes correr 10km en 50 minutos mas o menos.
De octubre a mayo el recorrido es de noche por lo que es recomendable llevar frontal, aunque si no tienes, no hace falta.
Realizamos todo el recorrido juntos y despuƩs del entreno solemos ir a tomar algo a un bar cercano.

Beautiful easy hike from **Blanes** to \*\*Lloret de Mar.\*\*We will pass different beaches and Calas.Due to the fact that there are hotels built at the coast,not all the part of the way will be made by the sea.So,we will pass urbanization,forests,and beach of course.
**MEETING POINT**

You can leave your stuff there and we will begin running from outside the bar.
A description of the route is below for your information. Before the run, we take a group photo and after we drink and/or eat at the bar (not mandatory).
We will chat a bit before starting to run. The distance is about 10 kilometers (\~6 miles). However, there are plenty of opportunities to turn back before and sometimes people run a shorter distance. Each person runs at her/his own pace. Most of the time people are talking/chatting so it's honestly a casual run. Mini groups tend to form according to pace.
Please note people run at their own risk and please if you have any medical condition make sure you let someone know and be sensible, run within your abilities.

We kick off by running into the Ciutadella Park via the main gate. We then take a right to exit the park and immediately take a left to run alongside the round wall of the zoo (Passeig de Cicumvallacio). We then turn right at Carrer de Ramon Trias Fargas and head towards the beach. We then take a left turn and run along the beach heading northeast. Along the coast, we cross the Passeig Maritim de la Mar Bella for a quick stop at the water fountain and then turn back. The main change on the way back is that we turn right at the tram station along the other wall of the zoo (continuation of Carrer de Wellington) and once we reach the end of the wall, we are back to Passeig Pujades where we end our run.

**#¿Qué hacemos?**
Quedamos delante de Buenas Migas de Barceloneta. Después de un breve calentamiento, unos salimos a correr y otros van a caminar. Todos, nos reunimos al final para charlar mientras algunos aprovechan de un buen chapuzón en el mar (opcional - traer bañador y toalla si os animÔis). Con los que no tienen prisa vamos a tomar un café/desayuno después.
**#¿Qué nivel necesitas?**
Ninguno, no importa si lo que te gusta es caminar, si estas empezando en el mundo del running o si eres un(a) campeón(a), estas bienvenid@. En general, somos entre 10 y 25 personas. Nos reunimos al principio y al final de la actividad, pero nos dividimos en 3 o 4 grupos mÔs pequeños en función de nuestros ritmos y de las distancias que queremos hacer.
Los que caminan, los que corren tranquilamente (6 - 7,30 min por km), a ritmo medio (5 - 6min por km), y los que quieren ir mƔs rƔpido (4 - 5 min por km).

Whoās in for a Sunrise run or walk in Barceloneta?
**#What do we do?**
After a short warm-up, some of us go running and the others go for a walk. We all meet again at the end to chat while some of us enjoy a refreshing splash in the sea (optional - bring a swimsuit and towel if youāre in). For those who are not in a hurry, we then go to have a coffee / breakfast close by.
**#What level of running/walking is required?**
None, it does not matter if what you like is walking, if you are a beginner runner or if you are a champion, you are welcome, and you wonāt get lost. In general, we are between 10 and 25 people. We meet at the beginning and at the end of the activity, but we divide ourselves into 3 or 4 smaller groups according to our pace and the distances we want to run/walk. Those who walk, the ātranquiloā runners (6 - 7.30 min per km), those who go at a medium pace (5 - 6min per km), and those who want to run faster (4 - 5 min per km).
**#Price?** The activity is free. If you want you can buy a running t-shirt of the group for 12 euros. Just let us know when you sign in.

We will use resistance bands in these classes. If you would like to bring your own then that is welcomed otherwise the coach will have sufficient quantity for each participant.
⢠What is it? - This class is designed to strengthen and condition the whole body. Aiming to prevent injury by strengthening those weak muscles and stretching those problem areas. This will be hugely beneficial to our runners all of whom who should do some strength and conditioning work at least once a week. By coming along to class you get to do this under the instruction of a experienced coach and in the company of your friends from running intervals.
⢠Where is it? - The class takes place in Park Glories. We will be located between the big white circle and the grassy area. Just look out for me in my blue PB:Running top.
⢠When is it? - Strength and conditioning classes take place on a Monday evening 7.30pm (Park Ciutadella),Tuesday evening at 6.30pm (Park Glories), and Wednesday evening at 7 pm (Park Barceloneta).
⢠Who runs it? - These classes are led by me! My name is Alan Urquhart and I am from Scotland. I am a Level 4 Advanced Personal Trainer and I have been in the health and fitness industry for 28 years. For 14 years I was a runner, taking part in road, hill, cross country, and track, in distances from 1 mile to marathon. I have been involved in Athletics coaching since I was 17.
⢠How much is it? - ā¬10 a class however you can buy an unlimited class pass which will give you access to all PB:Running classes for the calendar month for ā¬40.

We meet at lunch each week and each meeting follows a fairly organized agenda. First all participants pass their business cards around. Hi ladies. We will meet in front of the Nature Center and head to the two Observation decks. We will then hike Hickory Ridge, Ripple Rock, Overlook and Sugarbush trails to get approximately four miles total distance. We will walk approximately a 18 minute mile pace.
