Let's back to run !
We will meet by the Magic Fountain (Font Magica de Montjuic ([https://goo.gl/maps/RWPuTcn8htM2](https://goo.gl/maps/RWPuTcn8htM2))) - Plaça de Carles Buïgas at the end of the first stairs - just 2 minutes walking from placa Espana towards Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya.
We'll decide the route on the day.. or just follow Olivier... ;)
We'll meet at 7:30pm but we'll start running at 7:35pm. Please be on time.
Normally we do about 8-10kms in an hour during which we climb to the castle at the top of Montjuic. The accumulated elevation is about 300m depending on the route.
Note that this is *NOT* a beginner's run. It can be quite challenging. We recommend that you only join this run if, on a flat course, you can do 10km in 50mins or less or really like running up hill! If not it might be better to first start with one of the beach runs on Tuesday or Thursday.
Starting from October it is getting dark pretty early and not all the streets of the route have lights. If you have a headlamp please bring it with you but it is not mandotory.
Let´s do the entire route together and after the training we can go as usual for a fresh drink at a bar nearby
De vuelta en el Montjuic !
Quedamos en la Plaça de Carles Buïgas (donde estå la Font Magica de Montjuic), exactamente aquà ([https://goo.gl/maps/RWPuTcn8htM2](https://goo.gl/maps/RWPuTcn8htM2)), al lado de la barandilla que estå al final de las primeras escaleras. Si vienes desde plaça Espanya, son 2 minutos caminando en dirección al Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya.
Cada lunes hacemos un recorrido distinto por Montjuic que decidimos en el mismo dĂa⌠o sencillamente seguimos a Olivier⌠;)
Nos encontramos a las 7:30, y empezamos a correr a las 7:35.
Normalmente hacemos mĂĄs o menos 8-10 km en una hora, subiendo hasta el castillo en la cima de Montjuic, con un desnivel positivo total de cerca de 300 metros.
Es un entrenamiento exigente aunque accesible si ya tienes algo de experiencia corriendo. No estĂĄ hecho para debutante. Por favor apĂşntate solo si puedes correr 10km en 50 minutos mas o menos.
De octubre a mayo el recorrido es de noche por lo que es recomendable llevar frontal, aunque si no tienes, no hace falta.
Realizamos todo el recorrido juntos y despuĂŠs del entreno solemos ir a tomar algo a un bar cercano.

**Today weâre taking advantage of the public holiday to explore one of the most spectacular spots in the Muntanyes de Prades: Niu de lâĂliga and the Fonts del Glorieta đŚ**
Weâll start from Alcover and follow **a circular route of 11km with 350m of elevation gain, walking along the river through Mediterranean forests** until we reach crystal-clear pools and waterfalls that, after this yearâs rains, are more alive than ever.
First weâll discover **Niu de lâĂliga**, a beautiful natural pool surrounded by rock and wild nature⌠and then weâll continue to **the Glorieta Springs**, **an even more peaceful and magical spot** where water and stone create a unique atmosphere.
**An ideal route to disconnect, walk at a relaxed pace, take a dip in paradise...đđ and head home feeling fully recharged.** â¨

You can leave your stuff there and we will begin running from outside the bar.
A description of the route is below for your information. Before the run, we take a group photo and after we drink and/or eat at the bar (not mandatory).
We will chat a bit before starting to run. The distance is about 10 kilometers (\~6 miles). However, there are plenty of opportunities to turn back before and sometimes people run a shorter distance. Each person runs at her/his own pace. Most of the time people are talking/chatting so it's honestly a casual run. Mini groups tend to form according to pace.
Please note people run at their own risk and please if you have any medical condition make sure you let someone know and be sensible, run within your abilities.

We kick off by running into the Ciutadella Park via the main gate. We then take a right to exit the park and immediately take a left to run alongside the round wall of the zoo (Passeig de Cicumvallacio). We then turn right at Carrer de Ramon Trias Fargas and head towards the beach. We then take a left turn and run along the beach heading northeast. Along the coast, we cross the Passeig Maritim de la Mar Bella for a quick stop at the water fountain and then turn back. The main change on the way back is that we turn right at the tram station along the other wall of the zoo (continuation of Carrer de Wellington) and once we reach the end of the wall, we are back to Passeig Pujades where we end our run.

**#ÂżQuĂŠ hacemos?**
Quedamos delante de Buenas Migas de Barceloneta. DespuĂŠs de un breve calentamiento, unos salimos a correr y otros van a caminar. Todos, nos reunimos al final para charlar mientras algunos aprovechan de un buen chapuzĂłn en el mar (opcional - traer baĂąador y toalla si os animĂĄis). Con los que no tienen prisa vamos a tomar un cafĂŠ/desayuno despuĂŠs.
**#ÂżQuĂŠ nivel necesitas?**
Ninguno, no importa si lo que te gusta es caminar, si estas empezando en el mundo del running o si eres un(a) campeĂłn(a), estas bienvenid@. En general, somos entre 10 y 25 personas. Nos reunimos al principio y al final de la actividad, pero nos dividimos en 3 o 4 grupos mĂĄs pequeĂąos en funciĂłn de nuestros ritmos y de las distancias que queremos hacer.
Los que caminan, los que corren tranquilamente (6 - 7,30 min por km), a ritmo medio (5 - 6min por km), y los que quieren ir mĂĄs rĂĄpido (4 - 5 min por km).

Hi,
Whoâs in for a Sunrise run or walk in Barceloneta?
**#What do we do?**
After a short warm-up, some of us go running and the others go for a walk. We all meet again at the end to chat while some of us enjoy a refreshing splash in the sea (optional - bring a swimsuit and towel if youâre in). For those who are not in a hurry, we then go to have a coffee / breakfast close by.
**#What level of running/walking is required?**
None, it does not matter if what you like is walking, if you are a beginner runner or if you are a champion, you are welcome, and you wonât get lost. In general, we are between 10 and 25 people. We meet at the beginning and at the end of the activity, but we divide ourselves into 3 or 4 smaller groups according to our pace and the distances we want to run/walk. Those who walk, the âtranquiloâ runners (6 - 7.30 min per km), those who go at a medium pace (5 - 6min per km), and those who want to run faster (4 - 5 min per km).
**#Price?** The activity is free. If you want you can buy a running t-shirt of the group for 12 euros. Just let us know when you sign in.

Strength & Conditioning for runners (and other sports!)

We will use resistance bands in these classes. If you would like to bring your own then that is welcomed otherwise the coach will have sufficient quantity for each participant.
⢠What is it? - This class is designed to strengthen and condition the whole body. Aiming to prevent injury by strengthening those weak muscles and stretching those problem areas. This will be hugely beneficial to our runners all of whom who should do some strength and conditioning work at least once a week. By coming along to class you get to do this under the instruction of a experienced coach and in the company of your friends from running intervals.
⢠Where is it? - The class takes place in Park Glories. We will be located between the big white circle and the grassy area. Just look out for me in my blue PB:Running top.
⢠When is it? - Strength and conditioning classes take place on a Monday evening 7.30pm (Park Ciutadella),Tuesday evening at 6.30pm (Park Glories), and Wednesday evening at 7 pm (Park Barceloneta).
⢠Who runs it? - These classes are led by me! My name is Alan Urquhart and I am from Scotland. I am a Level 4 Advanced Personal Trainer and I have been in the health and fitness industry for 28 years. For 14 years I was a runner, taking part in road, hill, cross country, and track, in distances from 1 mile to marathon. I have been involved in Athletics coaching since I was 17.
⢠How much is it? - âŹ10 a class however you can buy an unlimited class pass which will give you access to all PB:Running classes for the calendar month for âŹ40.
⢠Anything else? - Before you attend your very first class with me, you will be required to fill out a par-q which you can complete here.

We meet at lunch each week and each meeting follows a fairly organized agenda. First all participants pass their business cards around. Then each member and guest is invited to give a one-minute overview of their company and what is a perfect referral for the week. We always have a 10 minute presentation from one of the members about their business in more detail. And finally we pass referrals. You're welcome to visit. Nobody is ever put on the spot. Hike Blendon Woods Metro Park
Hi ladies. We will meet in front of the Nature Center and head to the two Observation decks. We will then hike Hickory Ridge, Ripple Rock, Overlook and Sugarbush trails to get approximately four miles total distance. We will walk approximately a 18 minute mile pace. Please wear appropriate hiking shoes.
