Before you attend your first class, you MUST fill out this par-q https://forms.gle/1zN6VvvzfVBiAekx6 We will use resistance bands in these classes. If you would like to bring your own then that is welcomed otherwise the coach will have sufficient quantity for each participant. • What is it? - This class is designed to strengthen and condition the whole body. Aiming to prevent injury by strengthening those weak muscles and stretching those problem areas. This will be hugely beneficial to our runners all of whom who should do some strength and conditioning work at least once a week. By coming along to class you get to do this under the instruction of a experienced coach and in the company of your friends from running intervals. • Where is it? - The class takes place in Park Barceloneta where our running classes take place. Just look out for me in my blue PB:Running top. Click on the link to see the location https://www.pbtraining.online/pbrunning • When is it? - Strength and conditioning classes take place on a Monday evening 7.30pm (Park Ciutadella),Tuesday evening at 6.30pm (Park Glories), and Wednesday evening at 7 pm (Park Barceloneta). • Who runs it? - These classes are led by me! My name is Alan Urquhart and I am from Scotland. I am a Level 4 Advanced Personal Trainer and I have been in the health and fitness industry for 25 years. For 14 years I was a runner, taking part in road, hill, cross country, and track, in distances from 1 mile to marathon. You can text me and I can send you my location. • When is it? - Running intervals runs every Tuesday at 07:15am, Tuesday at 7.30pm (Glories), Wednesday at 8pm, and Thursday at 7pm. • Who runs it? - These classes are led by me! Después de un breve calentamiento, unos salimos a correr y otros van a caminar. Todos, nos reunimos al final para charlar mientras algunos aprovechan de un buen chapuzón en el mar (opcional - traer bañador y toalla si os animáis). Con los que no tienen prisa vamos a tomar un café/desayuno después. **#¿Qué nivel necesitas?** Ninguno, no importa si lo que te gusta es caminar, si estas empezando en el mundo del running o si eres un(a) campeón(a), estas bienvenid@. En general, somos entre 10 y 25 personas. Nos reunimos al principio y al final de la actividad, pero nos dividimos en 3 o 4 grupos más pequeños en función de nuestros ritmos y de las distancias que queremos hacer. For those who are not in a hurry, we then go to have a coffee / breakfast close by. **#What level of running/walking is required?** None, it does not matter if what you like is walking, if you are a beginner runner or if you are a champion, you are welcome, and you won’t get lost. In general, we are between 10 and 25 people. We meet at the beginning and at the end of the activity, but we divide ourselves into 3 or 4 smaller groups according to our pace and the distances we want to run/walk. Nos desplazamos hasta Esterri d’Àneu para dar y disfrutamos de una sabrosa cena grupal mientras nos conocemos. ★ **DÍA 2 (7 marzo)** – RAQUETAS en el CIRCO de BACIVER Tras un buen descanso, nos adentramos a la **Vall d’Aran** para nuestra primera aventura con raquetas de nieve ❄️. Rodeados de cimas nevadas, caminaremos por un **idílico bosque de abetos** hasta **un** **espectacular lago helado**, donde el silencio y la belleza del entorno te dejarán sin palabras. * Ruta semi-circular: 6 km * ⬆️ Desnivel positivo: 290 m * ⏱️ Tiempo estimado (con paradas): 4'5 h * Dificultad física: baja * Dificultad técnica: media. Excursión clásica para iniciarse en las raquetas de nieve. **★ DÍA 3 (8 marzo)** \- RAQUETAS con vistas a la VALL D'ARAN Nos acercamos a un excelente mirador sobre la llamada “Suiza catalana”, uno de los valles más espectaculares del Parque Nacional de Aigüestortes. Tras nuestra primera toma de contacto de ayer con las raquetas, hoy es el día para sacar a tu niñ@ interior: deslízate, experimenta y juega con la nieve. ¡Los paisajes de cuento, la sensación de libertad y el respirar aire puro harán el resto! * Ruta circular: 7 km * ⬆️ Desnivel positivo: 350 m * ⏱️ Tiempo estimado (con paradas): 4 h 30 min * Dificultad física: media * Dificultad técnica: media. **⚠️ INFORMACIÓN** **IMPORTANTE**: • **Nivel de las rutas**: INTERMEDIO. (Para personas habituadas a hacer desniveles de al menos 500 metros y/o excursiones de más de 4 horas por terreno irregular de media montaña). • **Progresión con raquetas**: no se requiere experiencia previa. Andar con raquetas **no es difícil**. Sin embargo, debes tener una **forma física adecuada** y estar acostumbrad@ a hacer el tipo de rutas mencionadas en el punto anterior. • **Condiciones invernales**: el estado y cantidad de nieve así como el estado de las carreteras es algo que queda **fuera de nuestro control**. En caso de poca nieve, nos reservamos el derecho de organizar una ruta alternativa de características similares sin raquetas. Nuestro objetivo es garantizar una de las dos rutas con raquetas. • Los participantes se comprometen a **estar en condiciones de hacer las rutas** y a **comunicar cualquier lesión** que pueda afectar al desarrollo óptimo de la actividad. • Las rutas **pueden sufrir cambios** en función de las condiciones meteorológicas y estado del terreno. **ALOJAMIENTO** Un **acogedor hostal familiar** situado en el bonito pueblo de **Esterri d'Àneu**. Dormiremos en habitaciones dobles. (Habitaciones individuales disponibles bajo demanda, con sobrecoste). • Régimen de **media pensión**: 2 cenas y 2 desayunos muy completos para reponer energías. **PRECIO/PRICE** **200 €** si haces la reserva de 70 € hasta **el 03/03/26.** **220 €** si reservas más tarde. (Si tienes vehículo propio, puedes ir directamente al punto 2). **❄️ RAQUETAS DE NIEVE** * Si no tienes raquetas de nieve, nosotros gestionamos el alquiler. Precio: **11€/día**, con palos.
