In this class, we’ll explore the **two complementary energies** that shape our lives: *the ‘doing’ and the ‘being’.*
We’ll begin with an energising Vinyasa flow to awaken the body, connect with our **Yang energy** *(the active, solar side within us) and* release any tension from the week.
In the second half, we’ll ease into stillness, exploring longer-held poses for tissue release, deep breathing, and grounding awareness, embracing our **Yin energy** *(the lunar, softer and introspective side).*
A Sunday reset to restore balance through asana and pranayama, helping you release the week behind and step calmly into the one ahead.

Birdsong Mindfulness Walks every Sunday
🐦 **Birdsong Mindfulness Walks**
Join a slow, mostly silent walk through the Montjuïc area, guided by birdsong, breath, and gentle presence.
We’ll move at an easy pace, letting sound and nature settle the nervous system. As you walk, you will receive gentle Reiki: an energy-based practice that supports relaxation and grounding.
There will be space to share reflections together after the walk, if you wish.
📍 **Location**: Montjuïc area. The exact meeting point pin will be shared a couple of days before the day of the walk here on Meetup. **Please confirm your attendance by sending a WhatsApp message to +34722 692 960.**
👥 **Group size**: Small and intimate. If you prefer a 1:1, we can do that too and I’ll walk beside you. Returning walkers may occasionally join beyond this number, as they’re already familiar with the pace and nature of the practice. If you’ve joined a previous walk and would like to come again, feel free to message me directly.

**🐦 What to expect on the walk 🌿**
* **Total time:** approx. 60 minutes
* **Pace:** slow and gentle
* **Experience level:** no prior mindfulness or Reiki experience needed
* **1\. Gathering at the Meeting Point:** We’ll begin by meeting at the agreed location and taking a few moments to arrive together.
* **2\. Walking to the Starting Space:** From the meeting point, we’ll walk together toward an open, quieter space where the session will officially begin.
* **3\. Introduction & Grounding:** Once we arrive, I’ll offer a brief talk introducing mindfulness and the intention for the walk, including how we’ll use birdsong and natural sounds as anchors for awareness. This will be followed by a short, guided grounding practice to help us settle into the body and open the senses before walking mindfully.
* **4\. Mindful Walking:** We’ll walk slowly and quietly through the area, with occasional gentle prompts offered along the way. At times, we may pause briefly to listen, sense, or simply be still. You’re invited to walk at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
* **5\. Stillness & Optional Reiki:** After around 20–30 minutes of mindful walking, we’ll pause in a natural spot for a few minutes of stillness. You’re welcome to sit down or remain standing, whatever feels right for you.
* At this point, I’ll offer a short Reiki session by gently placing my hands on you. This is completely optional — if you prefer not to receive Reiki, that’s absolutely fine. You can simply let me know beforehand, or choose to rest quietly during this time.
* **6\. Closing:** We’ll close the session together and gently transition back. If you feel you’d like to extend the Reiki session after the walk, you’re very welcome to let me know.

We’ll begin the grounding walk at 12:00, with a 5-minute grace period, and start walking shortly after.

If you arrive during the grounding session, you’re welcome to join the circle quietly and gently. If you arrive once the mindful walk has already begun, please join us silently, without drawing attention, to respect the experience.

Practicing yoga by the sea will allow us to use Mother Nature’s meditation cues: the rhythmic flow of waves crashing, the sound of wind blowing by, and even the smell of saltwater will help you relax, focus and completely clear your mind.
Yoga is a practice that helps us bring about balance to our mind, body and soul. Each class is designed to promote health, fitness, meditation, concentration and peace of mind.

This class is an invitation to connect with your body, mind and inner world in a conscious and supportive way, surrounded by **nature and ocean** **views**. We will practice on **grass**, allowing a softer contact with the earth and a more grounded experience.
The class begins with a moment of breath awareness and inner connection, helping you arrive fully in your body in the present moment. From there, we move into a dynamic and mindful yoga practice, flowing through postures with attention to alignment, the spine, breath and the body balance.
We finish with a guided relaxation / meditation, allowing the body and mind to integrate the practice.

Esta clase te invita a conectar con tu cuerpo, mente y mundo interior de forma consciente y con apoyo, rodeado de naturaleza y vistas al mar. Practicaremos sobre césped, lo que te permitirá un contacto más suave con la tierra y una experiencia más profunda.
La clase comienza con un momento de consciencia de la respiración y conexión interior, que te ayudará a conectar plenamente con tu cuerpo en el momento presente. Una pausa real para tu cuerpo y tu mente. En el Yin encuentras posturas suaves que dan tiempo a que el cuerpo se relaje de verdad y recupere espacio.
Al final, el baño de sonido con cuencos tibetanos crea un ambiente cálido que ayuda a soltar tensión y a bajar revoluciones.

I am a professional artist who studied Art Therapy at the Association of Art British Therapists and received a Master's degree in Art Therapy, interdisciplinary and human development, from IATBA Barcelona.

Soy originario de América Latina, y he vivido, trabajado y estudiado en Nueva York, Londres y Barcelona. Además, soy un artista profesional que trabaja en varias disciplinas. Durante mis 9 años de estancia en Londres, quise llevar mi gran experiencia en las artes y terapia corporal y psicología al siguiente nivel. Por esta razón, estudié Art Therapy en la Association of Art British Therapists. Después de eso, terminé mi Maestría en Arte Terapia, y desarrollo humano en IATBA, Barcelona, que ahora es mi hogar.

The emotional pain from past bad experiences easily lingers in the present, making it hard to enjoy life and create your future. Even when you think you've moved on, the negative emotions can be triggered, sending you back into the pain of that experience.
And we are talking about pain; emotions such as grief, depression, anxiety, fear (or terror), boiling anger, simmering resentment, feelings of shame, blaming and regret can leave you incapacitated to a greater or lesser degree.
