Sensual Touch Lab: Breath and Sound
Sensual Touch Lab: Breath and Sound
**Sensual Touch Lab: Breath and Sound** with **Markus Bohlmann** for **GBTQ men\*** **[Book a Ticket](https://wearevillage.org/en/shop/sensual-touch/w12-2026)** **Member: 15 €** **Regular: 30 €** We open up a space for a deep arrival in our own bodies. Through loving-connected breathing and mindful and conscious touch of ourselves and others, an invitation arises to feel held, connected, and safe. We open a space to connect deeply with our bodies and one another. Together, we begin by acknowledging any discomfort we may carry around nudity, intimacy, and being truly seen by others. We then explore what it feels like to be touched by someone else in a mindful, caring way — to be held, witnessed, caressed, and supported. We take our time to notice our responses: where we soften, where we tense up, where we long for connection. Each experience is welcomed as valid. Gradually, we shift toward becoming our own witness and our own allies. We cultivate a loving, connected presence with ourselves — meeting our desires and vulnerabilities with compassion. We will be guided by the breath and sound as anchors for awareness. Touched by the sound of chimes and our own words that answer to our needs at the moment, we are surrounded by a shared field of presence and care, bathing in a soundscape of self-compassion — resting in intimate, authentic connection with ourselves and with other GBTQ\* men. **What is Sensual Touch Lab Series for GBTQ Men\*?** Sensual Touch Lab Series for GBTQ Men\* is a monthly workshop where we aim to create a space for sensual closeness and playful encounters. Embodied, somatic experiences that appreciate our full-bodied nature. Using sensuality as an approach to explore new ways of dealing with our own fears or patterns related to nudity, intimacy, and touch. We invite you to explore, communicate, and possibly expand your personal boundaries within a framework of mutual respect and consent. This opens up the opportunity to experience the power of touch, sensation, and non-verbal interpersonal connection. Each event will be a guided process, which will have a special touch depending on the theme and background of the facilitator\*, whether it be bodywork and touch, somatics and intimacy, or something else. These short workshops may include nudity, partner exercises or close physical interactions. **Benefits:** **•** Creates valuable shared experiences among GBTQ men\* through closeness, empathy, and connection. **•** Combats feelings of isolation and loneliness. **•** Promotes self-love and acceptance of one’s body and identity **•** Provides a safe, judgement-free space to explore personal boundaries **•** Contributes to overall well-being and supports the ability to build lasting relationships **•** Can serve as a healthy coping mechanism and reduce the risk of substance abuse **General Information** • This format is for all queer men\* / queer masculinities interested in experiencing touch in a safe(r) setting. • Please pay attention to personal hygiene. • Bring a sheet and towel to cover cushions, mats, or massage tables. • This event will be in German and/or English depending on participant needs. • This event is also available at a reduced member price – but not part of the two-free-monthly-events benefit.

The Gift of Folding @ Das Gift 🎁
The Gift of Folding @ Das Gift 🎁
An origami tradition has by now taken root at **[Das Gift](https://www.instagram.com/dasgiftberlin/)**, a cosy Scottish pub (special info for all post-rock fans: Mogwai was its previous owner! 😱) in central Neukölln. Known for its creative spirit and friendly vibe, it’s the perfect backdrop for an evening full of origami, good company, and pretending we are far more coordinated than we actually are 🍺 What you can expect at all our events: * **Mandatory donation (amount of your choice)** – this supports essential costs like the Meetup subscription and keeps our community thriving 🌱 You can either submit a **physical donation** to the event host in person or make a **digital donation** **[here](https://paypal.me/origamiberlin?locale.x=de_DE&country.x=DE)** (and inform the host afterwards). * In-person folding practice for all levels – beginners and experienced folders are equally welcome. * Origami paper + model instructions will be provided (from the host’s collection, for reference only). Feel free to bring your own favorite sheets or tools! * Photos may be taken for memories & our archive (Meetup, Instagram, Telegram) – let the host know if you prefer not to appear. * **We kindly encourage everyone to order at least one drink/snack to support [Das Gift](https://www.instagram.com/dasgiftberlin/) for hosting us!** They are also kind enough to allow outside food, so feel free to bring something to snack on or share with the group if you wish! ⚠️ **RSVP Policy – Please Read** ⚠️ Our community has grown a lot since its birth in August 2024, which is amazing — but it also means we need to handle RSVPs more carefully: * RSVP opens **7 days before** each event (apart from short-notice events) and closes at **noon on the event day**. * Please cancel your spot or contact the host directly (via Meetup message function or our [Telegram channel](https://t.me/+T4URs80l2ig3NWNi)) by **noon on the event day** if you can't make it last minute. * Members with **2 no-shows** (without notice) will be removed from the group unless a valid reason is provided. Thank you for keeping things fun and reliable together as a community! 🙏 Get in touch if you have questions anytime, see you all at the folding tables very soon! 🍺

Poetry in the Park – International Day of Poetry 🌹📖 – Social Butterfly Club 🦋
Poetry in the Park – International Day of Poetry 🌹📖 – Social Butterfly Club 🦋
On the International Day of Poetry, we’re meeting in the Rosengarten at Bürgerpark Pankow to write and share poetry together — in a simple, grounded way. No stage. No microphone. No pressure. Bring: * A poem you love * A journal + pen We’ll sit on the benches, take time to write, and then gather in a standing circle to share — if we’d like to. I’ll guide us through a few short writing prompts and we’ll do 2–3 rounds, depending on the group’s energy. The focus is on presence, listening, and creative expression — not perfection. Dress warmly — March can still be crisp. Duration: approx. 75–90 minutes. Afterwards, whoever wants can join for tea or coffee nearby. Orga This meetup is donation based. Your contribution helps keep this community alive and is highly appreciated. Chitta Walks - Awareness in Motion
Chitta Walks - Awareness in Motion
Chitta Walks is for people whose days move fast, while the mind never fully lands. Thoughts keep looping even when nothing is urgent. The body moves, but attention is elsewhere. Over time, this disconnect drains clarity and ease. This walk is a simple reset. We meet in Berlin’s Tiergarten and walk at a gentle pace. Parts of the walk are in silence, with light guidance and a few short prompts. The walk itself is the practice, bringing body and mind back into the same moment. No apps. No performance. Just a clear space to slow down and notice what is happening. If you want to slow down without withdrawing from life, join a Chitta Walk. ✨ **What to expect (approx. 90 minutes):** * A short arrival and orientation * A guided silent walk (phones off, no conversation) * One concise science-based impulse on attention or stress * Optional reflection in pairs or small groups * A simple takeaway or experiment for daily life 🚶**Who this is for:** * Professionals, creatives, and people in transition. * People who feel mentally busy and want more clarity and balance. * Those curious about mindfulness, but grounded and practical. * Anyone comfortable with silence and gentle self observation. 🔔 **Practical notes:** * Duration: 60-90 minutes * Wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing * No prior experience needed * Group size is limited to keep the space quiet and focused 🧭 **Facilitator:** My name is Partha Sarathi, you can call me PS. I have lived in Berlin for over 12 years. With a background in physics and materials science, my interest in mindfulness grew through personal experience with stress and health challenges. I facilitate the space and structure of the walk, inviting shared exploration rather than instruction. 🤔 **Why Chitta Walks?** Chitta is a Sanskrit word referring to the mind or field of awareness, used here in a practical, non-religious sense. Chitta Walks is about noticing how the mind works by slowing down and walking together. Mindful walking makes thought patterns visible in real time, while moving and sensing in the world. The name points to a simple capacity: noticing what is happening in the mind without immediately trying to fix, judge, or optimize it. 🌿 **Possible effects:** A calmer nervous system. Clearer attention. A felt sense of being more present in your body. Subtle insights into how your mind reacts under everyday conditions. A quieter, more grounded way of moving through the city. **Come as you are. Walk. Notice. Leave with a little more space inside.**

**Important time note:** Please plan on arriving between 5:30 and 6:00 as the elevators lock after 6 and you'll need to message us and we'll need to come get you. The building address is 4450 Bridge Park The entrance is 6620 Mooney St, Suite 400 **Abstract** Web Forms gave .NET developers a powerful abstraction for building reusable UI controls long before design systems were a thing. Web Components finally bring that same idea to the browser natively. This session explores how the Web Forms mindset translates into Custom Elements, Shadow DOM, and HTML templates. We’ll examine how Web Components enable design systems that work across frameworks, how they differ from server‑driven controls, and why they’re becoming a foundational layer for modern UI. Whether you’re maintaining legacy apps or building greenfield projects, you’ll leave with a practical understanding of how to apply familiar patterns in a modern, standards‑based way. **YouTube Link** TBA
