Wiccan Apprentice Circle - London
Wiccan Apprentice Circle - London
Wiccan Apprentice circle is suitable for all Beginners & Seekers of the Spiritual path of Wicca & Witchcraft! Welcome to \`Wiccan Apprentice 2026 - Training & Practice Circles. If you are looking to join a coven, and/ or wish to learn & practice Wicca with other serious Witchy folks, in natural Woodland setting (yes come rain or shine!) then this monthly Circles are just perfect for you! By the time you've completed this training with full attendance, you'll be primed for initiation - if that's what you seek. Of course path to Initiation will require further training, personal developments and magical quests. Some of you may simply wish to learn the foundations of Wicca and move on to explore other magical paths. Each of our 9 sessions will have a teaching part, covering one of the key areas of Wicca (see contents below), and a practical ritual . For magical intents and purposes, these circles will work as a dedicated Training Coven, and as such, normal Wican Coven rules apply! We will cover those in our sessions. **To be a Witch..** In the Initiatory Craft, people are trained and made to be \`Witch & Priest' or \`Witch & Priest' - The Witch-part is practical, working of Rituals, spells, charms etc. The Priest / priestess part involves facilitating worship, helping and serving the Community.! One may begin the journey as a Witch but must grwo and develop as a Priest / priestess. Even that, after ome years, expands beyond Pagan/ magical communities and encompasses the living World as a whole. Underpinning all these is your own spirituality, your own connections to the divine Gods & Goddesses, and your moralitty, honour and integrity! You must strive to \`Know thyself' and work in accordance with the Gods & Goddesses within, and be guided by them and your genuine intuition in your actions. You must also maintain personal balance of power and grounding, keep your self magically safe from intrusions ..that can threaten to compromise your being. Also know that, you must be always confident and stronger than any forces you are trying to invoke.. maybe not in power but in Will. (If not, they will easily take control of you, your ego, your body and you are no longer \`you' - which goes back to the \`know thyself'!! There are a hundreds of angels, Fairies and Gods to call from. We have no need to call other forces. People are wiser working with transpersonal psychology when integrating their own shadows and projections. An empowered Witch stands on their own magic and energies!! **Secrecy & Privacy** All are expected to follow Secrecy, respect other members' privacy and hold matters in confidence. **Session outline** —– Each session will last approx 3hrs (7pm to 10pm). Please do not arrive late, or message last minute, asking for directions. We require dicipline , preparations and personal responsibility from each attendee. * (7pm) - Meet n greet; walk to ritual spot; set up & settle * Teaching & mentoring of Wiccan topic * Ritual /practical work * Discussions / shares * Pack up ; Tidy up; Departure - (by 10pm). **Topics to be covered** -- Not in any order, and each session will comprise of a selection of these. 1. Wiccan Tools (Athame, BOS, Scourge, Pentacle, Chalice, wand etc); Altar set up ; 2. centering Meditation, Tree/ Chakra energy working, Wiccan Opening prayer, Energy raising;.Spiral dancel chants; 3. Scared space: salt/water/incense Consecrations, Magic Circle casting; 4. Elements& Quarter Guardians (Air, Fire, Water, Earth); Personal & Transpersonal qualities (Breath, Body, Mind, Emotions; Thinking, feeling; Doing; Sensing) 5. Deity works. Horned God; God myths & cycles of the year; 6. Deity work: Moon Goddess; Goddess myths & cycles of the year; invocations & charges; 7. Ritual Magic; Spellcraft: Healing; Ethics opf magic; 8. Initiations; degrees; Coven; work of the Witch /Priest/ Priesstess **Additional Ritual Experiences:** If you are a regular to our other Ooen ritruals (Seasonals in Queens woods; or Full moon rites by Thames) - you can ask to take on ritual roles and gain more practical experiences. (Our previous Coven gained most of their training in this manner); **\-\-\-\- PRACTICAL DETAILS \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-** **Fee:** A Voluntary Donation is appreciated for tutor expenses; You can do this via Eventbrite, or by cash at the session; **Ritual venues** We may use a number of different woodland venues. The start will be in Queen' Woods- at the \`'Witches Coven' spot. This has been used by witches, covens, ritual magicians for many decades. Venues for subsequent circles may change to other woods. Members will be informed . **Meeting point :** * Pls wait at The entrance to Queen's Woods, Queen's wood Road, N6 5UU . * Google map ref: 51.580240, -0.142252 We will gather all members and walk together into the woods - to pre-fixed ritual spot. (this is different to our regular Public ritual spot). **Psychic Safety** — Please do not come late and enter circle once it’s cast – it breaches magic protection inside, leaks energy, allows negative entities to enter our protected space!! **Essentials to bring** \-\-\- If you plan to be an outdoor Witch, it's essential to build up a functional set of clothng & outdoor props. Here are some suggestions: * Be prepared for different types of Weather. When we are seated in one spot for long, it gets cold quickly.. So pls Wear warm / water proff clothing & coats; covering legs, ankles as it avoids insect bites in summer; * Bring a small ground sheet & optional cushion or mat to sit on. * Torch light .. essential for walking about the woods in the dark. Better to have a separate torch than the light on mobile phones.. If you **Food/ drinks** —— * bring some food & drinks to share. Vegetarian food is better. (bread, cheese, salads, dips, wine, soft drinks). It's okay if you can't bring any but pls avoid junk food. **Feasting, connecting & Magical thoughts** —- Circle will close after passing blessed Cakes & drink from the Altar. Then depending on time, we can be open for magical chats.. where you may share your experiences of what the ceremony has brought. **Tidying up & leaving no trace** -- We would really appreciate everyone packing their own tools and items , then tidy up the area, picking up rubbish into bags. We like to leave the ritual space completely traceless of our presence (yes even flowers ). **\-\-\-\-\-\-POLICY \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-** * NO Drugs/ substances, For Ages 18+ and over only. **Health & Safety:** If you feel unwell please stay at home. you can attend next time. * These woods are NOT suitable for anyone with mobility issues, wheel chairs. * **Inclusivity**: Please be kind, compassionate to one another throughout the whole gathering. We are inclusive of all race, genders, sexuality, LGBTQP+ If you have questions, please do contact me with them - in person at other rituals or via e-mail or social media.Thank you I look forward to sharing our magic with you.. Bright Blessings \-\- Mani \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- **About the Organiser :** Mani is an author, teacher, initiated Witch & Gardnerian High Priest, with 30yrs of Wicca & magical experiences. It is not organized by a business nor any entity with commercial purposes. Any trip details, travel advice, route planning, instructions and other content in our group merely represent our shared personal knowledge, research and suggestions as outdoor enthusiasts. As this is no business, there is no "product", "service" or "package" and also no "tour guide", "operator" or "walk leader". Each participant is responsible for their own safety. Even if some of us are very experienced walking outdoors, nobody assumes responsibility for any kind of injury, damage or loss that may happen. Despite this, we take extreme precautions and all trips we plan are very safe, fun, highly educational and popular. Our experienced members volunteer their time and effort to shape a pleasant and quality adventure for everyone :-) By participating you acknowledge and agree with this disclaimer. Here are our tips on staying safe during outdoor trips: http://www.meetup.com/Free-Outdoor-Trips-From-London/about/ TRAVEL, ACCOMMODATION, INSURANCE Although we provide detailed suggestions, each participant is expected to arrange their own travel - this gives everyone the freedom and choice. Anyone interested in travel or outdoor insurance should also arrange this on their own. As mentioned above we always take extreme precautions, but some people may still feel safer if covered. As most of our trips are confirmed or postponed very close to the event date - heavily depending on the weather forecasts - we advise not to buy this until the last minute. People getting tickets from the same station are encouraged to meet early on the day to benefit from discounts such as GroupSave.
