Jhana Meditation for Beginners
The course will start this Saturday at 10am. It will be in studio R at CCB studios. [https://maps.app.goo.gl/rFovxE7eG7HV6uB46](https://maps.app.goo.gl/rFovxE7eG7HV6uB46). Buzz for CCB studios and then walk through to the second courtyard. We will try to start right around 10. There will be tea available.
Please dress in comfortable clothes, maybe wearing a few layers. Theres some blankets, yoga mats, cushions and chairs in the room that you can use.
The plan will be for us to do some small discussions at the top and then start discussing theory before doing some meditations of increasing length and then closing with some time for Q & A. We will take a short break in the middle as well. The plan is to go from 10-12 roughly but we may end a little closer to 11:30 depending.
This week will function primarily as a simple introduction to meditation and some topics in the space but we will also discuss what the Jhanas are.
Looking forward! Any questions please just message me.
Signs & Synchronicity đź’« A Shamanic Exploration
**The (spiritual) world is constantly sending us signs, yet in our everyday consciousness we are often completely oblivious to them. How can we become more aware of these signs and interpret them for ourselves?**
Perhaps you have heard of someone who has lost a loved one and asked for **a sign from the afterlife**. There are countless accounts of such signs appearing shortly afterwards. But we can also ask our spirit guides, or the universe in general, for signs to guide us on matters where we currently lack clarity (like a tarot reading).
On this afternoon, we will focus on this very topic.
* To begin with, we will meet in a safe space and **embark on shamanic journeys** – without any substances, guided by the rhythm of the shamanic drum. You can ask the spiritual world specific questions and seek impulses or guidance.
* **Afterwards, we will go outside together.** On a mindful walk, we will turn our gaze outwards and begin to discover signs in our surroundings, connecting them with our inner impressions.
A peaceful, inspiring afternoon bridging the inner and outer worlds. **For anyone wishing to deepen their perception and discover new ways to access their own intuition.**
The event is led by Isabel, a shamanic practitioner. She herself has taken out a subscription to playing cards as a sign from her spirit guides and finds cards on the street approximately every two weeks (readable like tarot cards).
**đź’Ś RSVP on Meetup does not secure your seat!**
**Please register via Whatsapp/Telegram: +49 (0) 1573 72 48 15 7**
or Email: [wildandsilent.berlin@gmail.com](http://wildandsilent.berlin@gmail.com%2A%2A/)
**📍 Location: Samariter Kiez (you will receive the address after registration)**
**💫 Energy Exchange: €30**
**⏰ Doors open 1:45 PM. We will start in time.**

Introduction to Tantra - a workshop for beginners
What is Tantra? How does Tantra differ from other spiritual or self-development practices? What is the role of sexuality in Tantra? What are the core principles of Tantra? Can Tantra be practiced alone or is it mainly for couples? How does Tantra enhance personal and spiritual growth?
This 4-hour workshop is designed specifically for beginners who are curious about Tantra and want to get a first taste of its profound teachings. With the aim to demystify, we’ll address common questions and misconceptions through both discourse and direct experience.
After the introduction round and discourse, you’ll be invited to practice a series of guided exercises designed to deepen your comprehension of Tantra's core principles. These practices include active meditation, energy practices and both solo- and partnered exercises, allowing you to tap in to an embodied experience of the teachings. You will gain tools that can be applied in your daily life, enhancing both your personal and spiritual growth.

**Beyond Overwhelm** is a somatic, collective workshop that links embodied practice to social change. Together, participants explore how capitalist working cultures shape our nervous systems toward chronic overwhelm and isolation—and how we can cultivate embodied resistance.
**Beyond Overwhelm** relates to embodied learning circles with clear links to social change, aiming to practice together and empower their members to gain agency and take action. This workshop deliberately addresses the body and practicing together as a collective political practice, accessing the collective wisdom of a group.
In this workshop, we are going to explore how working cultures under capitalism are creating a sense of overwhelm in our nervous systems, and furthermore, how we can cultivate embodied resistance. The session offers tools for coming out of overwhelm as a foundation for building relational strategies and counteracting individualization; exploring why this is necessary for political agency while refraiming activism.
Through body-based practices, collective inquiry and imagination, this workshop gives space to explore the participant’s lived environment and how practices of connection, care and existing otherwise could be brought into it

Ecstatic Dance - Cacao, Breath, Movement
Ecstatic Dance • Cacao • Breath • Movement
@ Pyramid Floor Life Artist Creaters Hub Berlin
Hey you ✨
This Sunday, we gather for an Ecstatic Dance at Pyramid Floor — an evening to step out of the usual rhythm and into presence, movement, and connection.
Aesthetic Dance is a space to explore movement in your own way. There’s no choreography, no pressure, no need to perform. You’re invited to listen to your body, follow your impulses, and move as it feels natural to you — whether that’s dancing, stretching, resting, or simply being.
We begin the evening gently with a cacao moment and a short singing circle to arrive together and connect with the space. From there, we open into a guided music journey.
The DJ set will move through different textures — from soft and spacious, into playful and energetic, and back into stillness. You can stay in your own world or connect with others, always with awareness and respect.
This is a space to reset, to feel, and to reconnect — with yourself and with the people around you.
🌀 Flow of the evening:

Drunken
This month's prompt concerns the idea of the “warrior philosopher” (seemed appropriate in these times)--that is someone whose understanding of violence, power, and justice is forged through direct experience of war. We are looking at Major General Smedley D. Butler, a highly decorated U.S. Marine raised in a Quaker (pacifist) tradition who later became a prominent critic of American militarism (there is a wonderful biography of Gen. Butler called "Gangsters of Capitalism")
Butler's argument in *War Is a Racket* (1935): that many U.S. interventions were driven less by national defense than by corporate and financial interests, with Butler portraying himself as an enforcer for business and Wall Street. We can consider the moral ambiguity of his insider critique—whether complicity strengthens or undermines credibility and also consider some of the concrete reforms he proposed (e.g., “conscript” capital before soldiers, restrict the military to coastal defense, and have only those who fight decide on war).
Butler’s life arc clearly changed from pacifist upbringing to warrior to antiwar crusader—and asks whether true understanding of peace requires firsthand knowledge of war, and what that implies about the cost of suffering. So do we need to suffer to understand suffering? Do we have to experience war to appreciate peace? As one more question: in the movie "A Few Good Men" Jack Nicholson's character says that "you have the luxury of not knowing what I know" so do most of us go through life oblivious to real violence and suffering? See you at Drunken Philosophy!

Humanist Program
The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event.
We will be hearing from Becca Powell, Director of Advocacy and Outreach at Unchained At Last, an organization whose mission is dedication to ending forced and child marriage in the United States through direct services and systems change. Unchained At Last's mission clearly meshes and addresses several of our Humanist Ten Commitments. Becca will educate us about an issue many of us may not be familiar with--but should be.
Food and drinks will be provided at the event. Feel free to show up a little bit early to hang out and talk.
Going forward our meetings will be hybrid. You can meet us in-person or attend online
