The card helps you to consciously look for suitable subjects along the way – whether you're using a camera or a smartphone.

After-Work Yoga & Socializing
Join us for a post-work Hatha Yoga session designed to undo the tension of a long day at the office. We will focus on mobility and stretching to open up the body after hours of sitting, moving with medium intensity to find your flow.

Welcome to the Winterthur Badminton Meetup! 🏸👊😉🍻
We’re an international group created for badminton fans in and around Winterthur. Open to Expats and Swiss folks who want to train and socialise with fellow ‘badmintonists’. Or perhaps you’d like to learn the sport and meet new people? Whether doing it for fun or fitness, the idea is to enjoy and have a great (kickass) midweek. And everyone is welcome to join us for a postgame drink or two! See yah! 😊
Important: We ask everyone to respect others who wish to play. That means dropping out if you won’t make it to the game by updating your RSVP.
Keep in mind:
RSVPs close at 21:00 two days before the event to give others enough time to plan. Anyone on the RSVP list who did not show up at the event is considered a "no-show".
No-shows will still have to pay the shared cost of the court and shuttles. We keep track of no-shows and deprioritise them in future games.
Please try your best to pay on the same day by Twint or in cash. With Twint, write in the comment the date and your name for reference.
Cost will be around 12-20 CHF, depending on the amount of players joining and if we have to rent 1 or 2 courts.
Note: If it's your first time joining, please send me a message for more details and to confirm your spot in the game. Otherwise, regular players will be given priority.

BBS Stretching & Body Conditioning– RSVP
I'm really excited to announce our next Meet Up event. It will take place at Core studio in Rennweg
Rennweg 12, 8001 Zurich.
Designed to strengthen, release and stretch muscle tensions, conditioning your body by increasing your range of motion and flexibility as well as overcoming back pain; improving your posture and circulation so you can exercise more efficiently, whilst keeping your body injury free. The class is structured as a workout & stretch combination. Open to all levels.
You will need to bring a smile, some water and wear comfortable exercise cloths. The class will be 60 minutes which should be more than enough to get those muscles warmed up and you posturised ready for the next session.
There's a small cost to cover the venue and facilities - CHF 40.-

Step by step, I'll show you how to create stitches, maintain the right tension, and give your bag its shape. Before long, you'll see how individual loops transform into a sturdy, stylish bag.
In this workshop, you'll design your **own handmade tote bag** , perfect as a shopping bag, everyday bag, or statement piece. Choose from a variety of colors and customize your bag to perfectly reflect your personal style – whether minimalist, playful, or extra chunky. Each bag is unique and reflects your creativity.
The workshop is intentionally designed to be calm and relaxed. We'll take our time so you can enjoy the process and work without pressure. Finger crocheting has an almost meditative effect: the even movements, the soft yarn, and working with your hands help you switch off and leave everyday life behind for a while. Many participants are surprised by how quickly they progress and how easy this technique is.
**All materials are included in the workshop.** The high-quality yarn will be ready for you, along with plenty of space and instructions. You don't need to bring anything – just come along, get creative, and have fun. During the workshop, I'll provide individual support, offer tips on the shape, stability, and size of your tote bag, and help you if you're unsure about anything or want to make adjustments.

KCZ Thursday Training Sporthalle Schauenberg
Korfball is a dynamic, no contact, mixed gender team sport. It pulls together aspects of netball, handball and basketball to form an unique and inclusive game.
We will do some exercises, practice, play some games and have fun! :)
Everyone is welcome to training, no experience required.
Don't be misled by the low sign ups, our regulars don't use
meet-up. We are usually 6-10 people.

COLD WATER PLUNGE
Welcome cold lovers! We have been practising cold water plunges for over 4 years. We believe in the benefits of cold water exposure. The feeling you get after the swim is magnificent, it makes you feel alive.
We have started this group to safely experience the cold water together. We motivate each other, do active warmup exercises, and also share our life stories with a warm coffee/tea afterwards.
The event is every Sunday at 11:30, we meet at the Mythenquai Badi entrance no matter the weather.
Take along: a large towel, comfortable bathing suit, flip-flops, and warm clothes (hat, gloves, etc). If you’re planning swimming out take along a bright swim buoy.
The event is Free.
IMPORTANT:
Every participant takes responsibility for themselves when attending this event.
Before attempting cold water exposure, individuals with health conditions (e.g., heart problems or hypertension) should seek advice from a healthcare professional. Safely acclimating the body to cold temperatures requires preparation and gradual exposure.

Using Philosophy to Cope with Current Events
So this month's prompt is more general. I think we can all agree that we are living in "unique" times that require coping skills. I think that one role and/or purpose of philosophy is to help us deal with our daily lives and our "unique" times. So, let's share our feelings and thoughts about which philosopher/philosophy we turn to in order to deal with our crazy events. Who/what helps you stay focused in your daily life and helps you sleep at night. I find that Stoicism with a little philosophical pessimism mixed in goes a long way in helping me deal with what I see as very destructive, fearful and mean spirited public policies at both the state and federal levels. Our primary groups are outdoor movement groups, but we are launching virtual groups for the state of Ohio and beyond and the groups will move outside in the spring, creating room for men's groups, women's groups and coed groups all over the country.
