In this talk, we discuss some of the limitations of this approach and we propose an alternative that is based on code generation rather than the combination of hardware-specific libraries. **About Bodo** Bodo is a professor in computer science at Radboud University. His research is driven by the desire to bridge the gap between high-productivity programming tools and high-performance computing on heterogeneous many-core systems by means of compilation / code generation technology. Leipzig Gophers #59 - Sandboxing Agents with yoloAI
## Sandboxed Agents with yoloAI Hello, 世界! For meetup #59 on Tuesday [Apr 28, 2026 19:00 CET](https://www.meetup.com/leipzig-golang/events/312537718/) we are thrilled to welcome back [Karl Stenerud](https://www.linkedin.com/in/kstenerud/), who will be presenting (remote) one of his recent projects: [yoloAI](https://yoloai.dev/): > Run AI coding agents freely in a disposable sandbox. Review exactly what changed. Apply what you want. Some people are aware of the security nightmares that probabilisic language models with full system access may have, but you also need to act on it. > Permission fatigue is a real problem. Sandbox escape is a real problem. yoloAI solves it. The project is written in Go and open source at [kstenerud/yoloai](https://github.com/kstenerud/yoloai), works with various sandbox backends like docker, podman, tart, seabelt - and security modes, using [runc](https://github.com/opencontainers/runc), [gvisor](https://gvisor.dev/), [kata](https://katacontainers.io/), [firecracker](https://firecracker-microvm.github.io/). After looking at a agent memory upgrade system in [#58](https://golangleipzig.space/posts/meetup-58-wrapup/), we continue our exploration of [agentic coding](https://missing.csail.mit.edu/2026/agentic-coding/) and ai assisted software development, which is a rapidly developing field. ### Schedule * 18:45 Doors open * 19:00 Welcome * 19:10 yoloAI (remote presentation) * 20:00 Open discussion We’ll meet: * in person at [Basislager Leipzig](https://basislager.co), at [Peterssteinweg 14, 04107 Leipzig](https://maps.app.goo.gl/1fMkeDSPZ7Aauszh8) ([OSM](https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/3504864558)) * and online via [Google Meet](https://meet.google.com/tgb-juwg-khy) Join us to discuss security, agents, isolation techniques and more.

IN-PERSON Book Club Meeting - CONVENIENCE STORE WOMAN by Sayaka Murata
IN-PERSON Book Club Meeting - CONVENIENCE STORE WOMAN by Sayaka Murata
'CONVENIENCE STORE WOMAN' by Sayaka Murata 'Keiko Furukura had always been considered a strange child, and her parents always worried how she would get on in the real world, so when she takes on a job in a convenience store while at university, they are delighted for her. For her part, in the convenience store she finds a predictable world mandated by the store manual, which dictates how the workers should act and what they should say, and she copies her coworkers' style of dress and speech patterns so that she can play the part of a normal person. However, eighteen years later, at age 36, she is still in the same job, has never had a boyfriend, and has only few friends. She feels comfortable in her life, but is aware that she is not living up to society's expectations and causing her family to worry about her. When a similarly alienated but cynical and bitter young man comes to work in the store, he will upset Keiko's contented stasis--but will it be for the better? Sayaka Murata brilliantly captures the atmosphere of the familiar convenience store that is so much part of life in Japan. With some laugh-out-loud moments prompted by the disconnect between Keiko's thoughts and those of the people around her, she provides a sharp look at Japanese society and the pressure to conform, as well as penetrating insights into the female mind. Convenience Store Woman is a fresh, charming portrait of an unforgettable heroine that recalls Banana Yoshimoto, Han Kang, and Amélie.' ***Please read the book and join us for a lively discussion (in English) about the contents during our afternoon book club meeting.*** \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- **PLEASE NOTE:** This is an IN-PERSON event in Amersfoort, The Netherlands. Socrates Café at OBA 7th floor - Philosopher Quotes - Sunday afternoon
Socrates Café at OBA 7th floor - Philosopher Quotes - Sunday afternoon
In this format, we discuss a quote of a well-known philosopher. A summary is provided below. Please take the time to read. The Moderator will introduce the topic, we will have an open discussion, and a final round when everyone gives their conclusions. Quote of this Session: Herbert Marcuse “The more rational, productive, technical, and total the repressive administration of society becomes, the more unimaginable the means and ways by which the administered individuals might break their servitude." Herbert Marcuse is pointing out that the more efficient and “rational” a society becomes—through technology, productivity, and organised systems—the more it can control people without them even noticing. In such a system, domination doesn’t feel like oppression; it feels like comfort, convenience, and normal life. Because everything appears to function smoothly and logically, individuals lose the ability to even imagine alternative. About the author Herbert Marcuse was a German-American philosopher and key member of the Frankfurt School who became one of the most influential critics of modern industrial society. His work argued that advanced capitalism creates subtle forms of control by shaping people’s needs, desires, and thinking, leading to conformity and loss of critical awareness. Best known for books like One-Dimensional Man, he influenced 1960s student movements and remains central to debates about freedom, consumer culture, and social change. RULES Please be on time! Make sure you take time for finding the location. If something happens, please cancel as soon as possible. There are people on the waiting list. If you repeatedly sign up and don’t show up, expect to be moved to the waitlist next time. You may disagree with others, but please do so respectfully without personal attacks. Please keep your attendance to one event per week to ensure everyone has an opportunity to attend. This is a Philosophy event and this event's PRIMARY function is NOT focused on Self Help, Psychology or Theology. Though those topics can be a point of discussion from time to time. Please take that into consideration when signing up!

The Socrates Café — Philosophers Quotes Edition - Oba 7th floor.
The Socrates Café — Philosophers Quotes Edition - Oba 7th floor.
This is a new edition of the Socrates cafe with a new format. In this edition, the moderator will pick a specific quote, topic or question from a known philosophers (example; Voltaire, Kant, Marcus Aurelius, Hypatia of Alexandria, Rousseau, Machiavelli, Descartes, Plato and others). A summary around a page will be provided in the event *(**See below - The topic of this Session)*** Please take the time to read. The Moderator will read the summary and give an introduction of the topic. Then, we will have an open discussion, and a final round when everyone will give their conclusions. **The topic of this Session** Jeremy Bentham - It is vain to talk of the interest of the community, without understanding what is the interest of the individual **Meaning** This quote captures a core idea of utilitarianism, the philosophy developed by Jeremy Bentham. The quote by Jeremy Bentham means that you cannot talk about what is good for society as a whole without first understanding what is good for each individual within it. In other words, the “interest of the community” is simply the sum of individual interests. Bentham is emphasizing that policies or moral decisions should be grounded in how they affect real people, not abstract ideas of society. **Deeper meaning** Bentham is arguing that “society” is not something separate from individuals. It’s simply a collection of people. So when we talk about the “interest of the community,” we’re really talking about the combined interests (pleasure, happiness, well-being) of each person. Jeremy Bentham (1748–1832) was an English philosopher, jurist, and social reformer widely recognized as the founder of modern utilitarianism. He defined the core principle of his ethical and legal philosophy as "the greatest happiness of the greatest number," arguing that actions and laws should be judged by their ability to promote pleasure and minimize pain for the greatest number of people. **What is Utilitarianism?** **Utilitarianism** is an ethical theory that asserts that right and wrong are best determined by focusing on outcomes of actions and choices. **About the Philosopher** https://www.britannica.com/search?query=Jeremy+Bentham **RULES** 1. Please be on time! We will start at 19:00 so if you arrive late, please join quietly. If you are a first timer, make sure you take extra time for finding the location. 2. If something unexpected happens, please cancel as soon as possible. There's lovely people on the waiting list 3. If you repeatedly sign up and don’t show up, you can expect to be moved to the waitlist next time. 4. You may disagree with others, but please do so respectfully without personal attacks. 5. Please keep your attendance to one event per week to ensure everyone has an opportunity to attend. 6. Just to meet expectations, this is a Philosophy event to discuss Philosophy and this event's **PRIMARY** function is **NOT** focused on Self Help/Psychology or Theology. Though those topics can be a point of discussion from time to time. Please take that into consideration when signing up! See you soon!

How to Get Over Losses and Betrayls & Build Lasting Relationships
How to Get Over Losses and Betrayls & Build Lasting Relationships
Join us for this free, in person meeting on the subject of betrayals, losses and how to get over them so you can build lasting relationships. Do you want more motivation and confidence to build lasting relationships? Are you burdened by a stressful relationship? Unhealthy relationships can trigger feelings of anger, despair or self-doubt. They can create dwindling spirals of fights and seeking to make-up, or trying to “pin the blame” on someone or something. If you don’t find the RIGHT reasons, or select the correct sources of the problem, the problem can just get worse and worse. Whether in love or personal ties, with friends or at work, our life really IS affected by the quality of our relationships. Good ones can promote pleasure and survival, while less optimum ones can lead to annoyance, anger, self-doubt, stress, or even affect our health and ability to survive well. Whether you are suffering from a divorce, or a painful break-up, don’t know who to trust (or who to CHOOSE) as a partner, friend, boss or employee - the anxiety of relationship troubles can really make a mess of things. Maybe you’ve suffered a betrayal, or are dealing with hostility or criticalness or invalidation. Dwindling relationships can involve destructive behavior, where we hurt those we love, or start succumbing to self-destructive thoughts, attitudes or behaviors that spiral out of control and affect much more than our immediate relationship. Past losses in love or life can affect how we act or react to new people and situations and hold us back from even starting to create new, possibly great relationships! How can one get back onto a saner course of action? Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life: human relationships! Break free from self imposed limitations Here we will discuss: • How to “erase” the trauma of past hurts and betrayals so that one isn’t always repeating past mistakes. • Why and how do the negative emotions of others affect you? • Why is my partner withdrawing and what can I do about it? • Why do we sometimes feel compelled to hurt the ones we love? • Fights & arguments - what's really behind them? • What underlies “corrosive criticism” or the need to invalidate self or others? • How one can stably change one’s outlook on life so they can affect positive change? • Where do compulsive destructive behaviors come from and what can be done about them? • How to form closer bonds & keep growing the relationships with the people you care about? • How to enhance one’s own ability to survive and create positive healthy relationships whether in love, family & friendships or in work, business or one’s career? Relationships can be hard and life itself IS challenging. Why not arm yourself with the knowledge and breakthroughs that have been made about the mind, mental reactions & interpersonal relationships, so that one has better awareness and control over themselves and life in general. Learn where painful experiences are “stored” and how they can unknowingly affect us. You will also find out how one can “erase” those past painful experiences so that one is free to move forward without being tripped up by the past. Learn too, about what can lead some people to become “toxic” personalities and how to identify those traits in others so you won’t be tripped up trusting the wrong person. Our free Meet-ups occur in a safe environment where one can learn, without fear of judgment or criticism, and without the recommendation of harmful mental techniques or therapies, just how YOU can get yourself onto a happier & more successful path: in love & in life. We look forward to having you join us! This class is held at the Dianetics and Scientology Life Improvement Center of Central Ohio.

This is a free, in-person meeting on the subject of betrayals, losses and how to get over them so you can build lasting relationships. Burdened by a stressful relationship? Unhealthy relationships can trigger feelings of anger, despair or self-doubt. They can create dwindling spirals of fights and seeking to make-up, or trying to “pin the blame” on someone or something. If you don’t find the RIGHT reasons, or select the correct sources of the problem, the problem can just get worse and worse. Whether in love or personal ties, with friends or at work, our life really IS affected by the quality of our relationships. Good ones can promote pleasure and survival while less optimum ones can lead to annoyance, anger, self-doubt, stress, or even affect our health and ability to survive well. This class is sponsored by the Dianetics & Scientology Life Improvement Center of Central Ohio.
