It’s time to think pink again, as the weather improves and the long warm evenings scream for a cold glass of fruity freshness. But rosés are not just frivolous summer tipples. The best examples are world class, due to the history of the regions, geography of the landscapes and technical innovations going back centuries. Let’s learn all about it as we taste some of the best bottles in France (and by extension, the world): Clairet from Bordeaux – the OG Tavel - the only specialist rosé AOC in France Bubbly from Alsace Loire Valley – the spiritual home of rosé Provence – the more recent standard-bearer Languedoc – the new pretender As well as these classics I have a randomer as usual to liven things up. I maintain that pink wines are great with food, so I’ll supply some dips, seafood, cheese and other snacks to prove it! This really is the last word in rosé wine tasting, so I hope to see you there. A 2.5 hours oil color - acrylics painting lesson. **About this course** This is a painting workshop with the goal of teaching people how to create paintings using either oil colors or acrylics. The total subject lessons consists of around **27 lessons** that last 2.5 hours each. You can join at any time during the course. On each lesson the first part will be about theory and exercise and the second one about canvas time. Each participant will have the chance to work on canvas and start making paintings as artworks. All materials are provided by us. Each lesson has a subject. We do not follow a particular order, and every lesson is actually unique and many times personalized. This means that every time the attendess will have to do something new and different. You do not have to paint on canvas and with the mentioned art materias, you can also choose to use any of your wish. Most of the observations and exercises work well with all art materials. It is suitable for beginners and or even professionals who want to rationalize the canvas painting process. Holunderblütensirup selber kochen ist ganz einfach - ich zeige euch die Blüten und wie man daraus haltbaren Sirup herstellt :) Im Park an der Blaschkoallee wachsen einige wilde Holunderblütensträucher und wir machen Sirup direkt aus der Blüte.

Please join Columbus Tea Lovers for a tasting of loose leaf teas at a private residence in Worthington. (The address will be sent out via private Meetup message a day ahead to those who have RSVP'd.) June 20th is the Worthington Arts Festival so feel free to attend that event which is down the street in addition to the tea party. For this tasting please bring a tea or tisane (an herbal brew that contains no tea leaves) does not come in a prepackaged tea bag. You can feel free to bring it pre-brewed in a carafe or thermos; please leave out the milk and sweetener as we will have some on hand to mix and match. We will have the kettle on and fillable single serve disposable tea bags if you would like to bring the tea leaves unbrewed and extra tea cups on hand as well. We welcome you to bring snacks or desserts that are you enjoy pairing with tea. You can bring a chair if the day is nice in case we sit outside.
