Life drawing, shorter poses, experimental and fun! This session will be run by Freya Tate, a wonderful artist with a sharp eye and a playful line. The session will be life model focused but Freya will introduce chaotic elements to challenge you and move your drawing on to higher levels. During the class we learn a variety of standing, moving and sitting exercises to activate and develop our vital (Yuanqi) energy, while at the same time letting go of our sick or negative factor (binqi). We are guided in this with the help of the teacher, Andy Henry, who has more than 25 years teaching experience in this field. The exercises use postural work, breathing techniques, mental focus and sometime sound and spontaneous movements.
