Please do join us on Thursday at Christ Church Mayfair (CCM) for an evening of snacks, socialising, fun, and a short talk on the Christian faith. We've loved seeing so many people come along to this monthly event (to be clear most are not from meetup!), but always awesome to have more!
No need to bring anything, do let those providing snacks if you are allergic to anything, there will be hand sanitizer on arrival. First book club meet
## âš First Meet â What to Expect
Join us for the **first meetup of East London Book Club** â a relaxed evening of conversation around
***The Sense of an Ending* by Julian Barnes**.
This isnât a lecture or a book report. Weâll explore ideas, share different takes, and let the conversation flow naturally.
Youâre welcome even if you didnât finish the book â curiosity matters more than completion.
***
## đ Think About These (Optional)
No prep required â just a few questions to spark thought:
* Did you trust the narrator? Why or why not?
* How reliable do you think memory really is?
* Is the ending satisfying, frustrating, or intentionally unresolved?
* Which character stayed with you the most â and why?
* Did the book change how you think about past decisions?
Bring your thoughts, questions, or just yourself.
Please note this is a paid event with minimal payment to cover snacks and other material provided.

THE SUNRISE CLUB: meet while the city sleeps for sunrise, community, and coffee
Start your weekend by watching the sunrise from one of London's best viewpoints.
Meet fellow early birds. Get a big dose of nature: wild sky, abundant green space, and occasional wildlife. And then warm up in a nearby cafe.
Conversations fuelled by early morning light and coffee tend to be good ones.
On Saturday 7th March, we will:
* Meet from: 6:15AM at the top of Primrose Hill
* **Sunrise at: 6:32AM**
* Take in the view for a little while
* Walk to a nearby cafe (Roots on Regent's Park Road)
* Warm up with coffee (with 10% off)
Become part of our community of regulars, or just drop by for a one off experience.
We meet frequently - sometimes weekly, sometimes fortnightly - to create and sustain community. New people are always welcome :-)
**[WHATSAPP GROUP](https://chat.whatsapp.com/C2KwIp79riz1A71dNF6pgF)** to keep up to date
**[INSTAGRAM](https://www.instagram.com/thesunriseclubetc)** to see what these meetups look like
**[SUBSTACK](https://experimentsingroupwisdom.substack.com/)** for the newsletter and occasional extras
**[WEBSITE](http://www.alltogether.one/)** for all other groups
We are easy to find because we will be at the top of the hill with a big flag that says 'THE SUNRISE CLUB'.
These are free meetups, but if youâd like to make a donation in support of my mission - to get people together, to create connections, and have fun - you can donate here: '[buy me a coffee](https://www.buymeacoffee.com/bonnyastor)' â€ïž

Bi Coffee [other group]
Hot Bi Beverages! The Bi Coffee group (a separate group) meets at 3â6.30pm on the first Saturday of every month. The old Leon venue is permanently closed, so the group now meets in a CaffĂš Nero near Tottenham Court Road/Shaftesbury Avenue.
**The venue**: CaffĂš Nero, the Central Saint Giles one; at the bottom (south end) of Earnshaw Street, at the corner with Shaftesbury Avenue (a big junction); round the corner from Tottenham Court Road Station.
**Address**: 1a St. Giles High St, London WC2H 8AG
Vicki is running Bi Coffee each month, come and go as you please. Find us by looking for our little purple unicorn and sign.
Respect each other. Newcomers and quiet people are most welcome. There are regulars from outside our group (but in the general London bi community) so even if there's no-one else listed from here you'll be in a friendly and safe group.
But do please note this is a separate group from our meetup group and for most reliable updates check out the [facebook page](https://www.facebook.com/groups/bicoffeelondon/). Its run enthusiastically by upstanding bi community member(s) and heartily recommended if more relaxed and quiet hanging out in a café is more your thing.
đŁ Accessibility:
The cafe is ground floor and claims disabled toilet and access, baby changing facilities, wifi, and air conditioning (only one toilet though, which can occasionally mean a longer queue for that than for service).
The cafe is opposite Tottenham Court Road bus stop S (busses 14, 176). It is on the junction so taxis will need to stop outside it.
From Tottenham Court Road station head south on Charing Cross Road, take the left on Denmark Street, and then keep straight. It's under the large bright yellow Lego building.
