We will meet at the **Main Train Station** (hlavní nádraží) and take a train to Prague – Kolovraty. You will only need Prague Lítačka card or a validated 30-min ticket to board the train. From Kolovraty, we will walk across meadows, along a creek, through a couple of villages and a forest. All within the **Botič – Milíčov Natural Park**. Apart from the last 500 meters and one viewing point overlooking the cityscape in the distance, you won’t feel like being in Prague at all. In case you wonder, in the profile photo of this trip is Koniklec (*Pulsatilla*). It is a little hairy plant, blossoming around Easter, hence its English name **Pasque Flower**. Hopefully we see it in full blossom during our walk! DIFFICULTY: Easy to Medium Around 10 km/6 miles, on paved and unpaved streets and foot trails. Mostly flat, in total about 90 meters / 300 ft of elevation gain. Let's play badminton at Sports Centre Olšanka. We'll meet at 10.40 and play for 60 minutes. If you have a Multisport card please bring it along, as it will make the court free for you and also reduce the cost for others. If you don't have a Multisport card the game will cost you a maximum of 150 crowns, probably much less. I will cover the cost of the court so please bring cash to pay me. Join us for a tour of Brothers Drake Meadery in Grandview, hosted by the owner Oron Benary. He will explain the mead-making process and offer us generous samples of their fine meads. Mead is basically wine that is made from honey instead of grapes. There are many different flavors that range from dry, semi-dry, semi-sweet, to sweet. They are best known for their Apple Pie Mead. Oron has offered us a special price of 5.00 each person for the tour and tasting, which is normally 25.00 per person. I've taken the tour several times, and it's always enlightening and fun. Rebecca will bring a tea that will pair well with the mead for a tea tasting afterwards. Park anywhere around the building. Please avoid parking in front of the houses in the neighborhood behind the Meadery. Please keep your RSVP current. Knowing how many will attend will help Brothers Drake plan accordingly to accommodate us.
