A Visit to Central Park

A Visit to Central Park

Sun, Aug 30, 5:30 PM
From Carpe Diem
4.9

Join us for a leisurely walk around Central Park, where we will take in the beautiful landscape and make a visit to iconic spots in the area. Our meeting location will be a high end cafe called 'Ralph's Coffee', where we shall fuel up on caffeine before our journey. Once the group comes together, we will enter the park at the 72nd St & 5th Ave entrance. Expect to see: the Conservatory Water & Alice Statue, Bethesda Terrace and Fountain, the Beach Volleyball Courts... with our walk concluding at Strawberry Fields. Please make an effort to arrive on time because it will be difficult to find anyone once we enter the park. If you have questions or need to get in contact, my number is 917-769-2168.

Morning tech and coffee

Morning tech and coffee

Fri, Aug 21, 12:30 PM
From Astoria Tech Meetup
4.8

Hi neighbors! Let's gather together, share ideas, and talk tech. Since a lot of us are in permanent WFH mode, we thought it would be nice to have a reason to leave our apartments in the morning and interact with real live friendly faces in our neighborhood. This is a host-free event with no specific agenda. Let’s meet up and chat in the morning: * What are you working on? * What tech are you learning? * What tech questions do you have? * Would you like some accountability to help you push ahead? * … and more! Be sure to be respectful of our gathering place: purchase a coffee, tip your baristas, keep the place clean, etc. Looking forward to seeing you!!
