**Remembering 1976: Our Bicentennial Stories** **Schedule one-on-one interviews with our google form June 1- August 30** **https://forms.gle/4PkmdrDifmjggPvC7** **In celebration of America’s 250th birthday, we invite community members to share their personal memories of the Bicentennial year, 1976. From local parades and neighborhood barbecues to national moments and the nationwide celebrations connected to the United States Bicentennial, every story helps preserve the spirit of this historic time. Stories will be collected all summer long. Once compiled, in the fall, we will share your stories on our website and with the Behnke Museum as a lasting tribute. Interviews will take place at the Paramus Public Library. Fill out our google form to schedule your interview. This program is open to all residents past and present of Paramus, NJ.**

Not suitable for beginners, experienced paddlers only.** The City Island Kayak Touring Club is having their 4 mile Boot Hill Cup Kayak Race around Hart Island. Trophies will awarded in all classes. Name of the overall winner engraved on the Boot Hill Cup. Get there early to unload your boat and park in the street. **\*Registration begins at 8:00 am.** **\*Race starts at 10:00 am,** **\*Registration fee:** $25.00 Everyone must sign up individually! **Address:** Touring Kayak Club of City Island 205 Beach St. City Island, NY **Other events and a $15.00 Beer & Barbecue after the race.** Call (718)885-2242 or (718)885-3193 www.TouringKayakClub.org (for more info) Please only sign up here when you have paid the entry fee so we know who is going.
