This is a new, fun and interactive twist on traditional speed dating. At the beginning of the event, you’ll receive a **Bingo card**. During the event, you’ll be put in small groups to chat. Rounds will last about 10 minutes and the men will rotate each round. Throughout the rounds, your goal is to **complete as many Bingo squares as possible** by finding people who match the descriptions. The ultimate goal is to complete a full card. There will also be Bingo numbers on the card as well. Examples include: * Find someone who has **more than 2 pets** * Find someone with **blue eyes** * Find someone who has seen **every Harry Potter movie** * Find someone who is a **school teacher** * Find someone who has traveled to **more than two countries this year** * Find someone whose zodiac sign is **Capricorn** During your chatting sessions you will ask questions that would reveal answers that you can mark off on your Bingo card. New location! Meeting at Berkeley College, 3 E. 43 St. in room 402. They were nice enough to print signs last time so hopefully it will be very easy to for anyone entering the building. We are one of few Toastmasters clubs in NYC offering in-person meetings and we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity for in-person communication and networking. Interested in improving your public speaking skills? Want to meet new people and engage in interesting discussions? Hoping to make new business and life connections? If so we welcome you to attend the next Greenspeakers meeting. Greenspeakers is a Toastmasters club that was founded by Green Party members to provide a forum for engaged progressive activists and professionals to improve their public speaking skills. Guests of all political persuasions are welcome and we have no official connection to any political party. All attendees will have a chance to practice public speaking and will learn helpful tricks to become a more confident public speaker and communicator. Hope to see you there! Please note that our meetings require active listening and it's expected all in attendance will be respectful to each speaker by giving them your attention and refrain from making noise during speaking roles. Must prepay to attend.)* Spring has finally sprung and it's the perfect time to meet, mix and mingle with other singles for a "Date Walk" at one of New York City’s hottest attractions – Little Island! Located at Pier 55 on Manhattan’s Hudson River Park, Little Island is a floating park full of greenery, open spaces, viewpoints, and more. Our "Sunset Singles Strolls" are an extremely popular way to meet others in a safe, outdoor setting. Enjoy a fun way to meet others while getting fresh air and exercise. This event very casual and non-awkward + our host will help to make introductions. During the walk, you will randomly be paired with other singles in the beginning then rotate at designated times so that you get to meet everyone participating. We'll make several stops along the park so that people can take pictures and admire the beautiful views. We'll circle the island a couple of times and then afterwards, we'll continue the walk along the Hudson River. Once the walk is over, you're welcome to hang out and exchange contact info with others. Experience all the components of the "island", nestled among flowers, trees and shrubs, along with dazzling views of other portions of Hudson River Park, New York City and the Hudson River.
