This event is about socializing, learning and having fun! It’s a unique way to spend a Saturday afternoon while meeting dozens of other fun members and friends! Come alone or with a group! We’ll team you up then send you out through the halls of one of the world’s most famous museums looking for clues, exploring the artwork, answering questions and taking picture challenges. Along the way you will see artwork from Van Gogh, Monet, Dali, Matisse, Warhol, Pollack and more! **Here is how it works:** Arrive at the check-in location and get set up on a team (if you don’t already have one). Once you have a complete team we will send you out to the museum to find all the clues. The groups will have 75 minutes to find as much as they can and return to the starting point. We will tally up the answers and announce the winners. After the winners have been announced you can hang with your new friends or go back and explore the museum. What am I looking for at the museum? All the clues are things that are already at the museum. They are in the paintings, sculptures, gift shops, hallways, signs and the people that are there! Each team will have 75 minutes to find as many clues as possible. The teams with the most points will win prizes. Don’t worry if you didn’t answer all the items because there are bonus points. **Skill Level:** NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Click below to reserve your spot (no payment necessary a this time) [Click here to reserve a spot](https://www.theactiveculture.com/rsvp) Let's spend a long weekend together exploring one of America's most historically rich cities, with a little bit of everything: world-class museums, iconic landmarks, a presidential estate, and a charming waterfront town to send us home happy. We leave Friday night after work and arrive with a full Saturday and most of Sunday ahead of us. **Saturday** is our DC day. We'll spend the morning and early afternoon exploring the Smithsonian museums, among the most remarkable free museums in the world. There are several to choose from and everyone is welcome to pick what speaks to them most. Popular options include the National Museum of Natural History, the National Air and Space Museum, the National Museum of American History, and the National Museum of African American History and Culture. We'll grab lunch together in between, then spend the afternoon on foot taking in the iconic sights, the National Mall, the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, and the Reflecting Pool. We'll finish the day with a group dinner together in the city. **Sunday** we head to Mount Vernon, George Washington's beautifully preserved estate along the Potomac River. The grounds, mansion, and exhibits offer a surprisingly personal and fascinating window into the life of America's first president. This estate offer so much detail about colonial life and provides a glimpse into harsh reality of how slavery permeated the era. We'll spend a relaxed few hours exploring before making our way to Old Town Alexandria, a charming, historic waterfront district just minutes away. We'll explore the cit and have a farewell dinner together before heading home. We will meet in the city and travel together (transportation provided). Further trip details will be provided once you RSVP. The cost of the trip, which includes lodging, transportation, tickets to Washington's estate, is $315 for a shared room (someone you'r comfortable with) and $455 for a single room.
