Petco - Stop Selling Animals!

Petco - Stop Selling Animals!

Sun, May 17, 7:00 PM
From Direct Action Everywhere: People Who Love Animals
4.9

Join us in demanding that Petco stop selling animals! Most people shop at Petco because they care for animals. They may have no idea that the animals on the store’s shelves come from horrifically cruel breeding mills and some species are even kidnapped from their habitats in the wild. Shockingly, the majority of animals bred and shipped to pet stores die before they even reach the store shelf. Selling animals is costing millions of them their lives and it’s time for Petco to stop selling them! **When:** Sunday, May 17th 12noon **Where:** Meet at Franklin Square at the corner of 16th St and Bryant St, San Francisco (37.765424, -122.410229). We will walk to Petco together **Accessibility:** We will walk a short distance from the meeting location to the store where we will mostly be standing for about an hour If you would like to learn more about this campaign and get involved in the Bay Area to help end the retail sale of animals in pet stores please sign up at [dxe.io/adoptdontshop](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fdxe.io%2Fadoptdontshop%3Ffbclid%3DIwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTAAYnJpZBExNmZyUk82MVh3YVk0S0xzSXNydGMGYXBwX2lkEDIyMjAzOTE3ODgyMDA4OTIAAR5j7_tEPdWv3QVFz1iGYO0nX71WvqisoKPGWu5lD4b_RmxuXYe1stBbRFUnRQ_aem_s-n3-szB1f16I78sSslAuw%26brid%3DYWdncwFdOXpshcqJoC4MHf3drlBW&h=AUANTXcoVxAxU8Z3o6t7MnuhAwqqsouRQZL_JwRpuf2cGGXZoFmdipiK8OX3QlrXwWv5LPVfrEqQ4L8SAfhvmPtPWSP8mrVpYmmO5y4WIg5EF8yUqHt7wz_Haxgs4NcB8jRfVSlIQnYch_TBQEDEh73wmdG8Ix3k&__tn__=q&c%5B0%5D=AUBgKq0gUVCTbfy1M9rJDJ4sLhDiDezf44znl6uLnP7_TFW0kDz2NxK_pEEjKRqKPbrDIiRwnfK1HFdyWAtn8CQxJHKNGix2up2jPEADGhbsjwYyHvhKNJ2kGE6H-YmfZpdza7TEYexJamXq_ybBMl66AtT4um5jBQw) and take action at [dxe.io/actionsteps](http://dxe.io/actionsteps?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTAAYnJpZBExNmZyUk82MVh3YVk0S0xzSXNydGMGYXBwX2lkEDIyMjAzOTE3ODgyMDA4OTIAAR5j7_tEPdWv3QVFz1iGYO0nX71WvqisoKPGWu5lD4b_RmxuXYe1stBbRFUnRQ_aem_s-n3-szB1f16I78sSslAuw&brid=YWdncwH_h7YS0lJpICQxhJ345-eQ) Direct Action Everywhere (DxE) is a grassroots network of animal rights activists. Clover Exposed: Vigil and Protest at Agresti Calf Raising Operation

Clover Exposed: Vigil and Protest at Agresti Calf Raising Operation

Sat, May 16, 10:00 PM
From Direct Action Everywhere: People Who Love Animals
4.9

Please join us for a vigil and protest on public property at Agresti Calf Ranch, a calf raising operation that is part of Double D Dairies which supplies to Clover Sonoma. DxE's recent investigation of Double D captured footage of calves being kicked in the face, yanked by their tails, and burned. We’ll be nonviolent as always while we bear witness to the calves and demand those in power take action to protect animals. This cruelty was reported to Clover and to authorities yet no action was taken. Only after the LA Times reached out did Clover state they were suspending operations with Double D, yet they are still prominently featured on their website and the suspension is already lifted. If Clover is supposed to be the best of the best, this investigation makes clear the entire industry is based on abuse and exploitation. —------------- When: 3pm, Saturday, May 16th, 2026 Where: Park on the north side of 1600 East Monte Vista Road, Ceres, CA Wear: whatever you’ll be comfortable in on a sunny day. Accessibility: This action will involve some walking and standing. We’ll have a couple chairs on hand if you’d like a rest. Legal risk of this protest is relatively low. — Direct Action Everywhere (DxE) is a grassroots network of animal rights activists.
