Ocean Beach 5K + Beach Chalet Hangout
Sun, May 31, 6:00 PMJoin us for a refreshing and fun 5K run along Ocean Beach! We’ll meet at the Beach Chalet, where you can safely drop off your shoes and belongings before we head out to the beach for our run. This is a relaxed, community-paced run on the sand. Feel free to go barefoot if you’re up for the full beach experience, or keep your shoes on if you prefer. We'll run south down to roughly around Quintara Street and then return to our starting point (so we'll finish the run where we started). After completing the 5K, we’ll head back to the Beach Chalet to grab drinks or enjoy a light meal together. It’s a great chance to unwind, socialize, and soak in the nice ocean breeze. **Notes:** * All paces welcome, but please note running in the sand is a bit more challenging * Barefoot running is optional * We’ll keep an eye on belongings, but please avoid bringing valuables Come for the run, stay for the good vibes 🌊 Please let me know if you have any questions! 628-236-9369

Improv Jam Session | Beginner-Friendly Game Day
Sun, Jun 14, 9:00 PMJoin us for a fun day of improv games! This is a free, beginner-friendly jam session (not a formal class). It will be our third time getting together and we’ll have 2 fabulous co-hosts. We also have some ideas how to make it a little less chaotic (thanks, Andrew!) As always, nobody is forced to participate but highly encouraged to jump in and play. **What to expect:** * Improv - short for improvisational theater - is a form of live performance where characters, dialogue, and scenes are created in the moment. * We’ll have a mix of warm-up games, learn about character development, physical comedy, and storytelling. * Depending on audience participation, we’re planning about an 1.5-2 hour session. **Where and when:** * Sunday, June 14th - meeting at 2:00pm, games start at 2:15pm. * William McKinley Monument in NoPa: https://maps.app.goo.gl/gSDmnZA9md6r5orU9 * We’re planning to use the space in front of the monument as our “stage”. If you’re still reading (whoo whoo), here is a Wiki rabbit hole about improv: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Improvisational_theatre Come play some games with us!

💚Green Exercise🌻🌷🌸 Wildflowers 5 Miles 🥾Ocean Hike 🌊SF Lands End🏞️
Sun, May 31, 8:30 PM**Hello Ocean Lovers,** Let's meet up go for a Green Exercise Wellness Hike at Lands End Trail, meet new friends and get a good workout together. Enjoy Ocean air and Healing Sea for our physical Health and Mental well-being Lands End Trail is a favorite among both locals and visitors alike! This trail explores the historic Sutro Baths and offers great views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Pacific Ocean. A must see for any visitor to San Francisco. **Lands End San Francisco** The Coastal Trail at Lands End in San Francisco is a gorgeous spot for hiking, but most visitors to the city don't know it's there. Early History San Francisco was originally inhabited by the Ohlone Indians. An archeological site at Lands End was dated at 150 A.D., but there is evidence that Indians had been living in San Francisco for around 3,000 years. They had seasonal camps where the Sutro Baths ruins are now, eating seafood and hunting seals; archeologists found their garbage dumps, more politely known as middens. Hiking the Lands End Trail The Lands End Coastal Trail is walkway that starts just above the Cliff House, then winds in and out of the woods and along the edge of the bluffs, and ends in a ritzy residential area (Sea Cliff) near China Beach. Lands End Trail The way down is quite steep, but there is a stairway to follow. It's a small, rocky beach, good for relaxing and watching the breaking waves, but too rough (and cold) for swimming. Mile Rock Beach Another branch of the same path will take you down to the mini-beach, Mile Rock Beach, at the foot of Lands End Point. Mile Rock Beach-Tiny, but cool! It secluded the beach at the entrance to San Francisco Bay, a scene of many shipwrecks, but a pretty detour off the gorgeous. **Meet at 1:30pm** and **Hike time: 2pm** Great Highway & John F Kennedy Drive, San Francisco, CA 94121 GPS: https://goo.gl/maps/YYgxvPfbS9h6bfX9A across from the Beach Chalet Brewery at beach side parking lot We'll be at the beach side parking lot Parking: Free Level: Level: Moderate Challenging!
