Douglaston Phone Photo Walk Expedition to the Memorial Day Parade in Little Neck
Mon, May 25, 2:30 PMLet’s go to a Phone Photo Walk at Douglaston Peninsula: a gorgeous Historic District of Queens. Let’s wonder around the waterfront and see the largest collection of imported trees in New York City plus the architecture of the Mansions and their Gardens. The plan is also to visit a section of the Udall’s Cove Park Preserve: a dirt trail of a Forever Wild Area. Group meets at 10:30am by the Douglaston LIRR Station Plaza - Port Washington Line. We will pass Memorial Field Park where we can stop for snacks. Total distance aprox 2.5miles on rolling hills on pavement, grass and dirt trails. Wear supportive shoes, bring your hats, water and snacks. Plenty of breaks on the way to enjoy the views and take Photos. We will pass the Little Neck LIRR train Station and head to Northern Blvd to watch the Memorial Day Parade that starts at 2pm. Feel free to wear your Red, White and Blue and make this Day a memorable Outing. Tarrytown lakes and Rockefeller state parks Hike

This time we will take a walk through the beautiful Tarrytown Lakes Park and Rockefeller State Park. As always, we will pass through lakes, old churches, rivers and enjoy the beauty of the Hudson River. We will stop for lunch at Pocantico Hills and come back home from Scarborough. If we have enough time we will have dinner together. This is not a loop hike! Tarrytown Phone Photo Expedition: Old Croton Aqueduct Trail & Street Fair
Sun, Jun 7, 1:00 PMSunday June 7th, 2026!!! Let’s go to a Phone Photo Expedition to the Tarrytown Street Fair: an Outdoor Market with Music, food and Art. We will start the Day walking some 2 miles on the Old Croton Aqueduct Trail that runs through the Village and than go to the festivities on Main Street. Group meets at the Main Concourse Information Booth at Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan by the Golden Clock at 9:00am with tickets already purchased. Train leaves at 9:25am and we shall be on the front two cars. Leader wears a Pink Cap. Or meet us in Tarrytown train Station at 10:18am. We shall stop at the Sweet Ambateno Ecuadorian Bakery to get snacks for the Day. Wear supportive shoes to walk on dirt trails and on pavement and bring your hats. We will do stops to learn some new Phone photo skills! Total distance will be around 3 to 4miles with some hills.
