Let's Do Salsa and Bachata Classes!! (2 Hours of Lessons & 1 Hour Social Dance)

Salsa Classes are finally here! We will be going as a group and doing it in style with a 1 hour Salsa (Cross Body) class followed by 1 hour Bachata Class. Both of these are the most popular latin dances in the world and now will be your chance to learn them. For the final hour there will be a social dance, where you are free to dance as you wish. **Class Levels** There will be 2 rooms one for levels 1 & 3, and one for levels 2 & 4. Majority of our group will be at level 1. Litter Pick - Downham Woodland Walk (SE London)

Join the Eco Around Community for a litter-pick walk in Downham, facilitated by Biljana. Downham Woodland Walk is a local nature reserve and a narrow strip of mostly ancient woodland. It's part of the Green Chain Walk and stretches for about a mile. Rich in flora and fauna, it’s home to old oak and ash trees and a variety of birds. The area is frequently enjoyed by Downham residents and their pets. While maintained by Lewisham Council, contributing to the nature reserve's additional clear-up would be much appreciated. **When:** Saturday, 30 May, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm **Where:** The litter pick will start at the Moorside Rd entrance to Downham Woodland Walk, and we’ll make our way through to the Oakridge Rd exit near Barnardo’s. From classics like Exploding Kittens and Codenames, social deduction games like Chameleon and Avalon, to party games like Dixit and Wavelength, you’re sure to find something you’ll love ❤️ On top of this, you're also welcome to bring your own games that you love or have been excited to play with a group, providing they are short, easy to learn and accessible games. Clifton Nurseries, & lovely walk along the Regents Canal to Kings Cross.

This a new walk, and is well worth doing, and is 6 miles approximately. We will meet at 11 am, for a hot drink at the cafe in Clifton Nurseries near Warwick Avenue Undeground Station. (This is a lovely Garden Centre and well worth visiting.} After our hot drink at 11.30 am, we will walk along The Regents Canal and to The Ice Wharf for a latest lunch {or bring our own}. With Camden Town Underground less than 10 minutes away. For those that would like to walk further, we can walk to Kings Cross and have a drink in The Parcel Yard in the station. £ 7 meetup fee required {please have the right change}.
