An opportunity of a lifetime and a challenge to Kayak from Battersea all the way to Greenwich, passing the key landmarks of London on the River Thames. This will be a unique event for the meetup so long as we get at least 6 people interested and deposits paid . I have been told that whatever your level of kayaking is - even beginner, but someone who likes a challenge and is confident they can do ### **Kayak Bus is a one-way trip from West London to Greenwich.** This is a 100% sight-seeing trip, passing many of London's most iconic landmarks: Cutty Sark, Canary Wharf, Tower Bridge, Tower of London, Bankside and the Globe, St Pauls, South Bank, London Eye, Houses of Parliament, Lambeth Palace, MI6 and many others, all from the seat of a kayak. See London as it is meant to be from the river. The journey time is a good three hours with the tidal flow making the **trip suitable for all abilities** including complete beginners. Whether you have played golf or never played golf before this will be a lot of fun! I have reserved a few Bays and we will have 3 X people per bay. Its likely we will have some who have played golf before so we will get a person in each bay who has done it before. You can track on the Screen how far you have hit your shot and can compete with others :) At the event you will get your own Golf Club per pay and 180 balls (60 each) normally 60 balls takes around 30 minutes, so total time will be 90 mins. There are sofas in the bay where you can relax, also you can grab drinks from the bar and food / snacks. **Location** This will be at North Greenwich. Wales has just three national parks and while we visit Snowdonia and Pembrokeshire regularly, the Brecon Beacons is the one we rarely get to. Our last weekend here was back in 2022, so it's well overdue! And what a place to come back to! Covering more than 1,300km², the national park is home to some of the most spectacular scenery in Britain: dramatic mountain ranges, tranquil reservoirs, hidden falls and endless trails to explore. It's a true walker's paradise and just as special after dark. The Brecon Beacons was only the fifth place in the world to be granted International Dark Sky Reserve status, so if the skies are clear, the stargazing is extraordinary. **🗓️ SATURDAY – The Beacons Circuit** Departing London early on Saturday morning, we'll head to the heart of the Brecon Beacons to tackle the Beacons Circuit – an epic, big-view mountain walk taking in the highest summits of the Brecon Beacons – all in one spectacular hike! This challenging route takes us over four of the area's iconic peaks: Pen y Fan (886m, the highest mountain in southern Britain!), Corn Du (873m), Cribyn (795m) and Fan y Big (719m). Along the way, we'll be rewarded with incredible panoramic views, dramatic glacial ridges, beautiful waterfalls and some of the most breathtaking mountain scenery in Wales. After the hike, we'll drive to the traditional 19th-century Aberglais Inn for a well-earned dinner together, before heading on to our hotel. **🗓️ SUNDAY – Waterfall Country** On Sunday, we'll explore Bro'r Sgydau, or Waterfall Country — one of the best places for waterfall walking in Wales, with an exceptionally high number of waterfalls packed close together. Every one is impressive, but the star is Sgwd yr Eira (“waterfall of snow”), where the path takes you right behind the curtain of falling water. 💦 Just past halfway, we'll stop for lunch in the cosy village of Pontneddfechan, where you can grab something light at the Sgwd Gwladys café or settle in for a traditional Sunday roast at the nearby Angel Inn. Альтернативой острову является путешествие на лучшие пляжи Sandbanks 🏖️. **Brownsea Island** — заповедный остров, самый крупный из восьми островов побережья Dorset 🗺️. Он очаровывает восхитительными пейзажами, красотой и тишиной природы 🌲, уникальными достопримечательностями и познавательными историями 📜. Северная часть острова Brownsea является Национальным природным заповедником 🦅, который включает в себя несколько экосистем с разнообразной флорой и фауной 🌿. А еще на острове был свой «демон», которого звали — Мэри Бонэм Кристи 👻. По правде говоря, Мэри была, скорее, «добрым духом» Brownsea ✨, ведь именно она спасла уникальную природу острова, закрыв его на 34 года для любых посещений 🔒. «Демоном» ее прозвали те, кто был недоволен таким положением вещей 😉. Сейчас Brownsea принадлежит Национальному фонду, который стал современным «демоном» острова 🏛️.
