Look on the 2nd floor for a table with games on them. Take the subway down to Chambers Street or World Trade Center and walk west. Check www,mta.info for service disruptions. There is an elevator for those who want or need it. • What to bring Yourself, a pen or pencil. • Important to know This place has an elevator, so it's handicap accessible. They like board games; we like board games... it's a match made in heaven! WHAT TYPE OF GAMES ARE PLAYED? All types. Real short bluffing games decorated with skulls and flowers. Cooperative games fighting horrible diseases. Classic euro games where you haggle over sheep and wheat. Whether you want to fight unspeakable horrors in Arkham or build railroads across America or rebuild your farm after the black plague (more fun than it sounds) you can probably find a game you would like. Some games you might see are 7 Wonders, Settlers of Catan, Pandemic, Dominion, Dixit, Puerto Rico, Eldritch Horror, Ticket to Ride, Carcasonne among many others. You're also welcome to bring any game you want to play! I DON'T KNOW THESE GAMES? IS IT COOL IF I COME? Join me for casual drinks and conversations, and a couple rounds of trivia. This is an event where people from around the neighborhood just meet and talk. Talk about your day, talk about your life, talk about the weather, talk about your hobbies. Anything and everything is welcome! Then, at 8pm, we can join the rest of the bar in a round of Trivia where we can test our repitoire of all-important knowledge. Hopefully we can make meaningful connections and turn strangers into friends.

Weekly Prospect Park Wednesday Morning Ride

Every Wednesday! Anyone looking for inspiration and community for your morning ride? Let's ride the Prospect Park Loop with a pack of Bromptons. We'll ride two times around Prospect Park. Afterwards, we'll have lattes, croissants and conversation at a bakery cafe 4 blocks from the park (or zoom off to work if your time is limited). This is intended as a short and sweet ride before your morning commute and people typically depart the cafe around 9-9:30am. Hudson Greenway / Riverbank State Park Ride

Let’s ride our Bromptons from Lower Manhattan to Riverbank State Park across from 145th street for a picnic by the Hudson River and back! This is a 15-mile social ride at a slow pace, for Brompton bicycles only. **DETAILS** We’ll meet at the Hudson Greenway rest stop next to Christopher Street Pier, right across from Christopher Street and depart punctually after 30 minutes of socializing. We’ll roll at 11:30am sharp. At the meeting point, there are restrooms for us to use. If needed, restrooms will also be available at 43rd St and 69th St right by the Hudson Greenway. The entire route is on a paved, comfortable bike path, with very little traffic to cross and no major obstacles to expect. At Riverbank State Park, we will spread out on the grass, overlooking the Hudson River and have a picnic. After the picnic, we will ride back on the Hudson Greenway, just as we came, with the option for riders to either drop out when they are close to home or follow us across the Brooklyn Bridge into DUMBO, Brooklyn. We will have a small After Party on our rooftop terrace to round off the glorious day. **RIDE LEVEL:** Chill / Relaxed Pace: 16 kmh / 10 mph Distance: 15-19 miles (depending on your choice to ride back) There will be at least one short stop along the way. Everyone is welcome, no one will be left behind. **WHAT TO BRING** * Sunglasses * Please ensure your tires are inflated and your bike is in good working order * Spare inner tube in case of flats - everyone should bring this * Blanket and/or towel to sit on * Let us know in the comments if you plan to bring a pump as we’ll want a few of them spread around the group. **PICNIC** Please bring your own beverage, and snacks to share. We are planning to have a nice. leisurely picnic with a bounty of appetizers/tapas, e.g. bread, cheese, salads, wine etc. **PLEASE MAINTAIN YOUR RSVP!** If you can’t attend, please update your RSVP so someone from the waiting list can have your spot.
