They have all kinds of drinks, not just beer. After I usually like to walk down the block and get gelato too. Long Island City: Open studios, MOMA LIC museum, galleries, & river park

A thriving, often-overlooked arts community has sprung up in Long Island City. In addition to the usual attractions--art galleries and MoMA PS1, a contemporary-arts center affiliated with the Museum of Modern Art--neighborhood artists will open their studios to the public this weekend. We'll also visit Gantry State Park overlooking the East River, with great views of Manhattan. LUNCH: Bring your own. We'll eat somewhere between 2 and 2:30. DISTANCE: About 2-3 miles, ending at around 4 PM. But you can leave earlier, of course. LUNCH: At around 2 pm in a park overlooking the river. Bring your own food or buy it before the walk starts COST: Whatever you wish to pay at the museum plus $1 CASH for me. ENDING TIME: Approximately 4 PM. But you can leave earlier, of course. Core Body Boot Camp

We do boot camp style exercises, so think pushups, situps, planks, squats, burpees, etc. There's a lot of smiles and laughing involved, too... (and the high fives will come back as we leave the COVID era behind!) Not sure how to do burpees? Pike jumps? Dragon Pushups? That's fine! We'll teach you. This is an awesome way to rock your body and get fit fast. We welcome all fitness levels! Even if you have not worked out in years we want you to join us. Working out with fun, encouraging people in a group setting is better than trying to do this all on your own. EVERYBODY IS WELCOME!

Zone Twosday Battery Park Run🗽🛥️😎 (location: in front of Nike at Brookfield)

Come and join for a zone 2 training on Tuesday mornings! Zone 2 training is to maintain at 60-70% of your maximum heart rate. It has many benefits (just ask the Internet). Basically, we will jog at a speed where we can still talk. After the run, we can grab a cup of coffee and breakfast.
