Pastries, Cliffs & Ocean Views: SF Urban Hike

Join us for a relaxed San Francisco urban hike combining neighborhood streets, coastal trails, historic sites, and big Pacific Ocean views. We'll kick things off at Butter Love Bakeshop in the Outer Richmond, where we'll grab some baked goods and coffee before setting off (we'll wait until 9:45am for any late arrivals). From there, we'll walk toward Sutro Heights and make our way through the Land's End area, after which we'll finish by walking toward Sunset Dunes for the final stretch along San Francisco's oceanfront. This is a casual-paced hike. We'll take our time, enjoy the scenery, stop for photos, and give everyone a chance to chat and take in the views. (Dogs are totally welcome!) Come join us for a relaxed morning coffee and hangout at the Presidio Tunnel Tops! Just a laid-back morning to enjoy some coffee, good conversation, and meet some new people while taking in the park and views. We'll meet at the Presidio Starbucks for anyone who wants to get anything from there (we'll wait until 9:15am for any late arrivals), and afterwards we'll walk to the Tunnel Tops and aim to grab a bench or seats overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge. We're creating a community of women supporting each other's growth. Let's meet at Oracle Park and walk to Fisherman's Wharf. We can stop anytime during the walk. Sketching CoRo Coffee Room (Cafe Art Circle - East Bay)

Cafe sketching at CoRo Coffee Room in Berkeley. 📍 **1:30pm Meet inside.** Look for us with sketchbooks. 🎨 Bring your own art supplies. Roam freely. Sketch what you see. ☕ Pull up a chair anytime to draw with us and talk art. 📓 3:15pm. We wrap things up with a show & tell throwdown. We explore coffee and tea shops around the Bay Area, using sketching as a way to experience the atmosphere of each place and its neighborhood. Established in 2015, CoRo (short for Bay Area CoRoasters) is a collaborative roasting space for more than 20 independent local coffee companies. From the Coffee Room, large windows look directly into the roastery, giving us a chance to sketch both the cafe and some of the craft magic happening behind the scenes. If you haven’t been to Olivia Coffee + Flowers you’re in for a treat! They serve/sell beans exclusively from Gan Gyeul, a South Korean roaster. They even have the beans ground so you can get a better sense of what they taste like. As per usual, bring beans that you’re drinking that you’re enjoying as well as some bags if you’d like to trade beans with others (not required, just for fun). Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Take Time to Write at Cafenated Coffee

Let's meet up to write on Sunday at Cafenated Coffee on Vine Street in Berkeley. Anyone who writes is welcome! We'll be inside of the cafe, and I'll have a sign saying "Take Time to Write". We'll write in two 50-minute blocks, with breaks in between and after. Come find us between 10 and 10:30 to get set up in time for our first one at 10:30. Schedule: 10:00 - arrive, get drinks, chat 10:30 - Focused writing block 11:30 - End. (This is the time that we need to vacate to make space for other customers of the cafe) About the location: There will be wifi and some (limited) outlets. We'll be indoors, but they typically leaves the doors open so that the space is well-ventilated. The casual restaurant offers coffee, tea, bottled drinks, and a wide range cooked food. Please buy something to support them! About the group: Anyone who writes is welcome -- novelists, playwrights, academics, journalers. This isn't a critique group, and there's no pressure to share your work. We're here for camaraderie, moral support, and friendly peer pressure, so you can focus on taking time to do what you love to do. This meetup is for people who want to write!
