**Friends** **This week we are meeting at Espresso Roma Cafe in Berkeley. There are a few picnic tables on the side of the cafe that can accommodate about 24 people. When facing the cafe they are on the left side in the grassy area, This is where we will be meeting. In order to keep it to 24 people do not attend if you are on the waitlist as this is causing the crowd to get too large. If you show up and are not on the going list you will be asked to leave or sit somewhere else. Three no shows will get you removed from the group so please change your RSVP if you cannot make it and give someone on the waitlist a chance to come. Please don’t do this at the last minute unless it’s an emergency. We will be posting the coffee meetups month by month to give more of the newcomers a chance to sign up and get a spot. Moving forward we will talk to the owners about providing enough chairs for the long tables and not just the smaller ones. There do not seem to be enough chairs at the long tables and moving the chairs from the smaller ones was causing a problem since then other patrons were not able to sit down at the smaller tables. 10 people will initially be allowed to sign up and then we will attempt to balance the group by gender to 24 attendees. They offer both lighter pastry options as well as full meals perfect for brunch, and of course coffee and tea. **How to Get There**: Bus: next to stops for the 12 route. 2 blocks from the 688 route. 10-12 min walk (0.5 miles) from the 79 and 52 routes. BART: 13 minute walk (0.6 miles) from North Berkeley Station Parking: street parking available. Would recommend turning off Hopkins to a residential street like California or McGee, where your luck will be better.

Let's meet up to write on Sunday at the Cafenated Coffee Company in north Berkeley. Anyone who writes is welcome! We'll be inside of Cafenated, and I'll have a sign saying "East Bay Time to Write". We'll write in two 50-minute blocks, with breaks in between and after. Come find us between 10:00 and 10:30 to get set up in time for our first one at 10:30. Schedule: 10:00 - arrive, get drinks, chat 10:30 - first focused writing block 11:20 - break 11:30 - second writing block 12:20 - finish, optionally hang out About the location: There will be WiFi and some (limited) outlets. We'll be indoors, but they typically leaves the doors open so that the space is well-ventilated. The coffee shop offers coffee, tea, bottled drinks, and typically some pastries and cooked food.
