Do you want to run regularly? Together in a group?
Then run with us!
#### **Every Thursday, 7pm at Lochergut, Zurich**
We run about 7km and adjust the speed depending on the runners who join us.
For us, running isn’t just about fitness and competition, it’s about community and connection. We believe that nobody should have to run alone, and that by running together, we can push each other to be stronger and more resilient.
We look forward to welcoming you to the next run 🙌
AI Agents Over Coffee
Join us for the very first Coffee & AI Agents meetup!
A relaxed, no-pressure coffee chat to talk about AI agents: what they are today, how they can actually help in work and business, what’s worth designing, where the opportunities and risks are, and how they might fit real workflows.
No presentations, no jargon, no sales pitches. Just good coffee, a small group, and open conversation.
Who should come:
* People interested in AI agents and wanting to discuss designing them (planning workflows, goals, tools, behaviors — no coding needed)
* People from any industry who have tasks or processes they'd love to automate with agents and want to connect with others thinking about building them
Format: Drop in anytime from 6:00 PM onwards (we'll wrap up naturally around 8:00 PM or when people start heading out). We'll start with quick intros (“What brought you here?” or “One thing you’d love an agent to handle?”) then let the discussion flow freely.
**Limited to 10 spots** for a cozy, conversational group — RSVP to secure your place.
Venue: ViCafe Europaallee Europaallee 20 8004 Zürich
See you there — bring your curiosity and enjoy the coffee! ☕🤖

**Frequently Asked Questions**
* ***Is the show really in English?*** Absolutely. Every set is performed in English by a mix of Swiss-based and international comics, so no Swiss-German skills required.
* ***What’s a “Comedy Open Mic”?*** It’s the testing ground for jokes. Pros road-test fresh material and brave newcomers grab their first five minutes. Expect some gems, some flops—and the fun of seeing comedy born in real time.
* ***Will it be funny?*** Most of the time, yes! An open mic is a roller-coaster: seasoned acts, new voices, and the occasional glorious train-wreck. It’s all part of the charm.
* ***Can I perform too?*** Yes - you need to book a spot - find out more about how to do it here: [https://inyourfacecomedy.ch/perform/](https://inyourfacecomedy.ch/perform/).
* ***Do I need to buy tickets in advance?*** Please do. We’re usually running around before the show and door sales slow things down. If you’re stuck, we’ll try, but no promises. Link to tickets as at [https://inyourfacecomedy.ch/comedybrew/](https://inyourfacecomedy.ch/comedybrew/)
* ***How does seating work?*** First come, first served so grab a drink, snag a seat, and settle in.
* ***Is food available at the bar?*** ROBIN’s serves drinks only. For a pre-show bite, try **Restaurant Johanniter** (classic Swiss) or **Holy Cow!** across the street for burgers.
* ***Will the comedians pick on me?*** We chat with the crowd for laughs, not humiliation. Friendly banter only - you’re safe.
* ***How long is the show?*** Doors open 7:30pm, show starts \~7:50pm with a 15 min break in the middle ending around 10pm. Enough time for the last trams home...
* ***Age limit?*** All ages welcome of course 16+ recommended (adult themes, spicy language).
ZH3 Hash # 1711: The Down Out After Back On Under Hash
Hares (who set the route) are Spermalbad and Christian Harlot.
**Where**:
Meet at the lockers in Bhf Stadelhofen (https://maps.app.goo.gl/kS6gV8DsSq5soo9r6, or [https://w3w.co/wording.salad.pastels](https://w3w.co/wording.salad.pastels)). Look for English speakers wearing something approximating to running gear.
**When:**
We'll meet at 6:50 pm to start at 7:00 pm.
There's a charge of CHF 5 for participating, which covers as much beer/cider (and non-alcoholic alternatives) as you can drink afterwards, plus snacks.
**On After:**
The clue is in the title. It's between Gleis 1 and Stadelhoferstrasse.
**All Welcome:**
If you are curious, and want to get out of the house, stretch your legs, talk shit, enjoy a drink, and hopefully a laugh, then here's what you need to know:
• We are a social running/walking group - physical fitness is not required, but a sense of humour helps.
• The aim is to find the '*Beer Stop*' at the end of the '*trail*' and have fun.
• 'True Trail' is typically 4-7 km. Some will go less (especially those walking or walk/running), and some over-achieving fast runners will go further.
• The '*Hare*', which changes with each event (along with the location), cleverly lays the trail (typically with chalk and/or flour markings) so that everyone reaches the end at about the same time.
• There is always a place to deposit your bag and sometimes a place to change.
• Headlamps are highly recommended during the winter months, especially if we go into the woods, which is often the case.
• **After Trail**, we group in the '*Circle*' for 30-40 minutes for drinks, snacks, and some fun. This is usually outside, so bring warm, dry clothes to change into. If you don't want to stand around drinking afterwards, you can head home. We often go to a nearby restaurant for the 'On After' afterwards.
**Why bother leaving your warm & dry sofa?**
If you enjoy getting outside, being around people, and doing something a bit different, you will probably enjoy hashing. Exercise is important, and this is probably the least boring way to get it.
'Hashing' and the idea of some physical activity to work up a thirst, have been around for almost 90 years and there are groups (*Hashes*) in most major cities. Its humor and traditions can be explored on the internet - **or you can just come along and find out.** *See you there.*
We are of many nationalities, all ages, full of misfits and idiots (at least there is no one taking themselves seriously!) and always welcome newbies 'Virgin Hashers' and visitors from other groups.

IoT Meetup at Concept Reply (Preparing IoT for the Quantum Era with DigiCert)
**Beer, Pizza and IoT Meetup (DigiCert Special)**
We would like to invite you to our next IoT Meetup at Concept Reply at the Reply offices in Munich.
PLEASE NOTE: THAT THE DOORS WILL OPEN AT 7PM DUE TO AN EVENT BEFORE.
**Agenda**
19:05 – Securing the future Internet of Things with ML-KEM and ML-DSA (Talks by Kevin Hilscher and Daniel Stroehmann from DigiCert)
20:00 – Pizza & Networking
**Description**
Today’s Internet of Things (IoT) relies on a variety of protocols and communications technologies…CoAP, LwM2M, LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, Wi-Fi, Thread … many of which are not quantum-safe.
While large-scale quantum computers capable of breaking current encryption aren’t yet available, the concept of “harvest now, decrypt later” is a significant concern. Now that NIST has released final versions of its first three Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) standards the race is on to make IoT quantum-safe.
**We will explore**
* What it takes to make an IoT solution quantum-safe.
* The algorithms regulators, such as BSI, are recommending.
* How to implement and transmit data between a device and an MQTT broker with TLS 1.3, ML-KEM, and ML-DSA using open-source tools.
Please feel free to forward this invite to anybody who might like to take part.
PLEASE NOTE: This Meetup will get streamed and recorded so you may get filmed by taking part.
Due to limited capacity, we reserve the right to restrict admission.
Pizza, beer and seats first come first serve! :)
Vibecode Bar

Girl Coders Coding Together (event for women and gender minority coders)
This meetup is for women and gender minority programmers in Zurich.
As the title says, we meet to code. You can actually code together with someone or just enjoy the company of people coding next to you. You can for example bring your hobby project, a tutorial you'd like to try out or your next challenge on HackerRank. You don't need to come prepared though, you can also just drop by and can get inspired by / pair with someone else.
We'll be meeting at the ETH main building (https://ethz.ch/en/campus/access/zentrum.html). Since there might not be any food / drink options open there on the weekend, consider bringing your own coffee if you need it as fuel for the coding :).
I'll give a more detailed description where to find us in the comments as soon as I've found a table. While ETH can be tricky to navigate we haven't lost anyone yet!
I'm looking forward to seeing you there!
Algorithmic Trading & Crypto
## (Lesson 2)
## What to expect
Project Equilibrium is an in-person introduction to disciplined, rule-based trading automation. This first event is designed to be clear, practical, and approachable no hype, no pressure, and no prior technical background required.
### Why we meet (two-session structure)
This meetup is structured as **two lessons**:
**Lesson 1 — The “Why” (mindset + framework)**
* What Project Equilibrium is (and what it is not)
* Why we focus on process, rules, and execution discipline
* What “24/7 execution” means in practice
* Q&A and open discussion
**Lesson 2 — The “How” (step-by-step setup)**
* A simple walkthrough of the basic tools you need
* Step-by-step guidance to install and prepare the required exchange apps/accounts
* A clear checklist to be ready for future sessions
(You won’t be left alone—everything is explained calmly and in order.)
### What to bring
To make the second lesson smooth, please bring:
* **A smartphone** (for authentication and exchange app setup)
* **A laptop** (for the setup steps and configuration)
If you only have one device, you can still join Lesson 1. The setup lesson is simply easier with both.
### Who this is for
* People curious about algorithmic execution and portfolio discipline
* Beginners who want a structured approach
* Experienced traders who want more consistency and less stress
### Agenda
* Welcome + introductions
* Lesson focus of the day (Why / How)
* Guided walkthrough (where applicable)
* Q&A + next steps
### How to find the group
* Arrive a few minutes early and look for the **Project Equilibrium** group.
* I will be there to welcome attendees if you’re unsure, simply ask the venue staff for the Meetup group name.

Humanist Program: Fighting the Efforts to Insert Religion into Public Education
The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event.
Food and drinks will be provided at the event. Feel free to show up a little bit early to hang out and talk.
Our March speakers are Molly Gaines and Zack Parrish, co-organizers of the Secular Education Association:
They will share their story of how a small group of Ohio parents grew into a national organization tracking released-time religious instruction and other church–state issues in public schools. The presentation will cover SEA’s early wins and hard lessons, what we’re seeing nationally right now, and how local advocates can play a meaningful role in protecting public education. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of the landscape — and practical ways to get involved.
Going forward our meetings will be hybrid. You can meet us in-person or attend online
