The Fourth Team Member: AI in Service Design (case + workshop)
The Fourth Team Member: AI in Service Design (case + workshop)
We ran a small service design and software development project with three people and an AI, using AI for everything: user research, synthesis, ideation, prototyping, development, sparring. **The event starts at 17:00!** This evening is two parts. **Part 1: Case study and Q&A (60 min)** A walkthrough of how we worked: what we built, what went well, and where it got frustrating. Plenty of time for questions. The talk covers what made it work: using AI as a colleague, compounding context, workflows, CollabAI. We used GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Whisper, with a few AI skills and integrations. **Part 2: Mobbing with AI workshop (60 min)** Try CollabAI for a while. Small teams, one laptop, working with AI together. One person drives, others navigate, everyone thinks. Bring your own AI! We will be working in groups 3-4, and each team needs a volunteer to share their laptop and any general-purpose AI (ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot etc.) with the group. No prior AI experience needed. Some skepticism and curiosity are welcome. **About the facilitator Ari Tanninen:** I’m fascinated by what happens at the human-AI interface: how people think, work, and create differently when AI is in the room. I’m a freelancer and trainer working across business, design, and tech, interested in AI in teamwork and all the messy stuff that happens before a backlog exists. Also tired of the AI hype. We’ll be hosted by Ai4Value! Remember to thank them for inviting us to meet at their location! Our monthly Coaching Circles are a safe and collaborative space for all members of the community and participants of the events to share their experiences, tools and more. We gather every month, to explore a different topic. The event follows the [Agile Finland's Code of Conduct](https://www.agile.fi/about/code-of-conduct/).

Vieraileminen on maksutonta eikä ennakkoilmoittautumista tarvita. Tule testaamaan, miltä tuntuu puhua yleisön edessä. Ei tarvitse olla valmis – kunhan haluat oppia.

Skill Exchange Dinner: Restart — Thinkers & Makers
Tired of surface-level networking? This is something different. A small, curated dinner for entrepreneurial and creative people who are either starting something again, or already in the middle of it. Because starting something new takes courage. But starting again, after doubt, delay, or change, takes even more. ✨ **How it works:** Each person comes with: * **One skill you can offer** (something you’re good at or enjoy helping others with) * **One thing you need help with** (a challenge, idea, or next step) During the evening, we create space for: * honest conversations * idea sharing * real support * unexpected collaborations No pitching. No pretending. Just real people helping each other move forward. 🎯 **Who this is for:** * People building, creating, or restarting something * Entrepreneurs, freelancers, creatives * Those who value depth, honesty, and growth 🎟 **Spots are limited to 6 people.** Your RSVP is only confirmed after ticket purchase. Food and drinks are not included in ticket. We will share the location after confirmation. **Ticket:** 10€ (to confirm your seat) https://book.stripe.com/14A3cv01AgO13qZ5oM3gk03 On a mission to connect Thinkers & Makers here in Helsinki, and make them feel home ✨

DevOps Finland April meetup
Hosted by Zalando **Agenda** 17:00 Doors open 17:30 Welcome / DevOps Finland & Zalando 17:45 A perfect storm: how a tiny change in a CMS service authentication once broke up the Zalando Fashion Store? / Uri Savelchev, Senior DevOps Engineer @ Zalando Finland 18:30 \*\*\* break \*\*\* 18:45 Start SLOw! - How to ru(i)n your services using Service Level Objectives / Vitek Urbanec, Chief Resiliency & Governance Consultant @ incidentist.io 19:30 Free discussion 20:30 Doors close **A perfect storm: how a tiny change in a CMS service authentication once broke up the Zalando Fashion Store?** Is it possible that a little mistake in update of a CMS, that is pretty far from the "hot path" and the customer traffic, could break up the operations and lead to a high-profile incident? I'll tell you a thrilling story about one of the most puzzling incidents I have ever dealt with. For the last fifteen years I'm specializing in DevOps/SRE and Platform Engineering. **Start SLOw! - How to ru(i)n your services using Service Level Objectives** In the vibe-coded world, it's essential to know when your change broke your company's stream of income (again), and how much more of that can your customers take before they vibe-code their own SaaS (with blackjack & webhooks). Calculating good_events / total_events \* 100% is just the beginning. You've done the calculation, you've set a made-up arbitrary objective, but what do you do next? In this talk, we dig beyond the trivial topics, our starting line will be "we already have the SLOs, what now?" Vitek Urbanec is a Chief Resiliency & Governance Consultant at incidentist.io, who has spent the better part of 13 years making sure other people's production systems don't catch fire — and occasionally helping them understand why they did. He's worked across industries in fintech, gaming, and SaaS, most recently embedded with a platform team, helping squads turn uptime feelings into actionable SLOs. **Streaming:** https://app.sli.do/event/4456cs3cfWgSemSQaYXVm4 **Join our Slack and other channels:** https://www.devopsfinland.org/ **LinkedIn:** https://www.linkedin.com/company/102919614
Founders House x Cloud Native Helsinki: Security night
Founders House x Cloud Native Helsinki: Security night
Welcome to our **April** meetup hosted in collaboration with the non-profit **[Founders House Helsinki](https://founders-house.fi)**! Schedule: **17:00 Doors open** **17:00 - 17:45** **Networking** **17:45 - 18:00** **Host & organizers - Welcome and practicalities** **18:00 - 18:30** **Software Supply Chain Attack Vectors when using Generative AI** by a Software Engineer at CRACI **18:30 - 19:00 Break, networking** **19:00 - 19:30** **Right-sized Kubernetes Access Control with Conditional Authorization, by Lucas Käldström, Kubernetes contributor** Have you ever struggled writing least-privilege access control policies for Kubernetes? Are you concerned about the wide permissions of installed Helm charts? Do you manage to regularly audit who has access to sensitive resources? In this talk, Kubernetes contributor Lucas introduces you to open source tools that help you on your defense in depth journey for securing the Kubernetes API surface. They demonstrate how to right-size your RBAC rules semi-automatically, audit who can access sensitive resources, and check whether policy refactors are correct. This talk is part of a journey to improve Kubernetes access control in core. However, to make this initiative successful, user feedback is needed throughout the process. You’ll learn about the planned Kubernetes Conditional Authorization feature, which will make authoring right-sized policies easier. **19:30 - 20:00 Break, networking** **20:00 - 20:30: The LLM Gateway Is an Ingress Controller. Treat It Like One, by Juan Antonio Osorio, Software Engineer, Stacklok** The AI gateway has quietly become the most valuable credential aggregator in the enterprise. One process holds OpenAI, Anthropic, Bedrock, and Gemini keys for every team. The March 2026 LiteLLM TeamPCP supply-chain compromise showed what that costs: one backdoored PyPI release, every credential in the gateway exposed in minutes. This talk is about what you do before that lands. Every LLM gateway is an ordered pipeline, and the security of the pipeline is a property of its ordering, not of any individual stage. The worked example is upstream Envoy AI Gateway (CNCF project under the Envoy umbrella); the lens applies to any gateway that fronts LLMs. **20:30 - 21:00 Networking** **NOTE:** The event will be live-streamed on the Cloud Native Nordics YouTube. **NOTE:** Signing up for the event gets you a seat at the onsite event. **NOTE:** Pictures might be taken during the event and be published to this meetup page. Also there will be a livestream during the event which picks up audio from the space. If you do not want to be included in any pictures, please let the organizers know.
