# Cacao & Hypnosis Journey: Meet Your Future Self
What if you could meet your future self — the version of you who already knows the way forward?
This guided experience invites you into a deeply relaxed hypnotic state where the analytical mind softens and space opens for intuition, imagination, and inner insight.
Before the hypnotic journey begins, we open the space with a short cacao ceremony. Cacao has traditionally been used as a gentle heart-opening ritual that helps the body relax and the mind slow down, allowing you to arrive fully present for the experience.
From there, you will be guided into hypnosis with calming music and verbal guidance.
In this state, the mind becomes more receptive to inner information and subconscious imagery. Each journey unfolds differently. Some people experience images or visions, others receive insights through emotions, body sensations, thoughts, or a quiet inner knowing.
There is no right or wrong way to experience hypnosis simply allow whatever arises to unfold naturally.

# What Is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a natural state of focused awareness and deep relaxation similar to the moments just before sleep or during meditation.
During hypnosis, brain activity shifts from the analytical Beta brainwave state into slower Alpha and Theta brainwaves, which are associated with creativity, emotional processing, memory access, and subconscious learning.
In this state, the mind becomes more open to insights, intuition, and deeper self-reflection.
Contrary to common myths, hypnosis does not involve losing control. You remain aware throughout the experience and can return to full alertness at any moment.

El Juego de la Transformación es una herramienta de desarrollo personal creada en la comunidad espiritual de Findhorn (Escocia), reconocida por su enfoque profundo y a la vez lúdico. A través de una dinámica estructurada, el juego permite que explores un tema vital para ti en este momento de tu vida. Puede ser un desafío, una pregunta, una intención, un bloqueo, una búsqueda…
El juego ofrece un marco simbólico para que observes tu vida desde una nueva perspectiva, mientras recibes insights, espejos y mensajes a través de cartas, obstáculos, ayudas y reflejos que aparecen en el tablero. Todo está al servicio de tu proceso interior.

El Juego de la Transformación te invita a detenerte. A mirar hacia dentro. A preguntar con sinceridad:
“¿Qué necesito hoy para estar más alineado/a con mi verdad?”

He visto personas emocionarse, soltar viejas cargas, encontrar claridad, recibir mensajes que necesitaban escuchar.

This evening is an invitation to slow down, soften the mind, and reconnect with your inner essence. Through conscious breathwork, the sacred medicine of Rapé, and gentle embodiment practices, we create space to release what no longer serves and open to clarity, presence, and inner alignment.
Rapé (ha-pen) is a traditional Amazonian plant medicine, used by indigenous tribes for grounding, cleansing, and deep spiritual connection. It is typically made from Mapacho (a sacred Amazonian tobacco) blended with various medicinal herbs. Unlike other plant medicines, Rapé is non-hallucinogenic and does not take you out of yourself, but rather brings you deeper into your body. Offered with respect and intention, it supports the clearing of mental fog, emotional blockages, and energetic stagnation, allowing you to arrive more fully within yourself.

It’s time to take control of your mental health. How do you get rid of stress, anxiety and uncertainty? These emotions are buried deep in your reactive mind. Find out what the reactive mind is, and in the process find yourself.
Have you ever suffered from a traumatic experience, a deep loss or been through a painful breakup? Has your ability to communicate suffered as a result? And after that, even though you "moved on" did you find that things were never quite the same? Have you ever looked at childhood photos, or reminisced your early life and wondered where that happiness and spark went?

**HOW IT WORKS**
**Step 1: Bring a topic**
Before you arrive, think of **one** topic you want to explore. A question. A thought that's been on your mind. An obsession you want to geek out on. This is your ticket to the event.
**Step 2: Circle up & share**
We gather in a circle. Your friendly walk host gives a speech to set the tone. Everyone shares: your name, what you're grateful for, and your topic. That's it. 60 seconds.
**Step 3: Walk, talk & float**
We walk 5 miles. You naturally drift into conversation with 2-3 people at a time, pulled by topics that spark your curiosity. When you're ready to move on, just say: "I'm going to float!"
**Step 4: Feel more alive**
Two hours flies by. You're back where you started — but you feel different. More alive. More energized. More connected to yourself and others. That's why regulars join 20+ times.

**HOW TO BRING A GREAT TOPIC**
A great topic = something you're genuinely curious about.
Recent topics include:
* "What are you passionate about right now?"
* "What makes a good friend?"
* "What's a belief you used to hold that you've completely changed?"
* "How do you want to be remembered?"
* "What would you do if money wasn't a factor?"
Think of your topic like the dish you're bringing to our conversational potluck. If everyone brings an A+ dish (i.e. energizing, uplifting, expansive), we'll all walk away feeling lighter and brighter.
**WHAT TO EXPECT**
This isn't a fitness event with casual chitchat. It's a walking think tank where we explore life's big questions together, beyond small talk. *If you're looking for light banter or a standard networking event, this probably isn't the right fit.*
But if you crave depth, genuine connection, and conversations that make you feel alive? You'll love it here.

* We have multiple first-timers at each event. We work hard to create a welcoming, inclusive, clique-free space.

* If you'll arrive over 10 minutes late, we suggest skipping the event. It's hard to find us once we start walking, and your host can't answer messages during the event.
* This walk is designed for everyone to *move together at the same steady pace* (about 20 min/mile). This format works best when the whole group moves in unison. If you have mobility limitations, we kindly encourage you to find an event better suited to your needs.

WHAT IS CONTRA DANCING? Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing!
Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor.
Be sure to come for the beginner's lesson from 7:30 - 8:00, followed by dancing 8:00 - 10:30. All dances are taught; we will help you learn! Beginners always welcome, no need to bring a partner.

Free In-Person Events: How to Let Go of the Past and Move Forward
The emotional pain from past bad experiences easily lingers in the present, making it hard to enjoy life and create your future. Even when you think you've moved on, the negative emotions can be triggered, sending you back into the pain of that experience.
And we are talking about pain; emotions such as grief, depression, anxiety, fear (or terror), boiling anger, simmering resentment, feelings of shame, blaming and regret can leave you incapacitated to a greater or lesser degree.
In this local event we will be discussing the reasons why these past bad experiences have the power to affect you long after they occurred. We'll go over why the emotional pain can be so strong. We'll also discuss some simple solutions to overcome your emotional pain and be free to fully enjoy your life again.
Examples of painful experiences include:
* A broken relationship or divorce.
* Death or loss of a loved one.
* Death of a pet.
* A sudden shock or bad news.
* A betrayal.
* Being part of an abusive relationship.
* A bad injustice.
* Loss of a job, position or business.
* A grave illness or injury.
The negative emotions from these experiences don't just go away on their own. But the good news is there is a way to clear them out of your way.
