OFFERING OF GONGS + SINGING BOWLS SOUND
Offering of sound to the temple you reside is a purification process. The space within is cleansed and is receptive to what is. The Sounds offered in this session may intensify your presence. And that, offering presence is said to be healing .
The function of the instrument Gong and Singing Bowls are commonly used in sacred places to induce quietude and silence ā the cosmic background Sound and space where life thrives best. This is a simple and gentle method to evoke stillness. And as a consequence, the act of doing is refined to be meditative and focused.
YOGA NIDRA + GONGS : REST & RECONNECT TO WHOLENESS
Rest and reconnect to your True Nature with Yoga Nidra and awaken to a life of unshakable peace and wellbeing. Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) is derived from the ancient tantric practice and is a unique combination of modern science and ancient yoga teachings. It is a guided mindfulness-based practice that focuses on body sensing, breathing techniques, emotional relaxation and guided consciousness meditation. Backed by science and research, the practice has been proven to assist with deep rest, stress, anxiety, insomnia, pain management and PTSD. Yoga Nidra can be a loving and supportive practice to living your best life. Life can be hard at times, sometimes really hard and we could all use a little support, self-care/love and rest from the mayhem.
In this highly regenerative meditative state, we gently allow the sound and vibrations from the Gongs to shift and release stagnant energy and tension accumulated in the bodies. You can restore and rejuvenate your body, heal and recover from illness, and re-wire your brain for greater mental and emotional balance and resiliency.

About Yoga Instructor & Reiki Healer, Hwee Hwee
Hwee is a yoga instructor who hurt her wrist, dampening her asana practice and just could not recover it 100% with physiotherapy and Traditional Chinese Medicine. A calling drawn her to Reiki healing and her recovery progressed so much more! Hwee is an advanced Reiki Level 3 practitioner.
With yoga, Hwee fell in love with the low impact workout (which was gentle for her teenage injured lower back). Wanting to know yoga beyond the physical aspects (asanas), she went to one of the oldest yoga school in world, G.S. College of Yoga and Cultural Synthesis, Kaivalydham in Lonavla, Pune, India in 2017 and attained her Hatha Yoga teaching certifications from both Kaivalydham and Quality Council of India (QCI) by Indian Yoga Association.
Hwee is also into meditation since 2013 and with Hatha Yoga now, the practice between asana (physical exercise) and meditation has integrated into one.
It is said that we don't do meditation, meditation happens to us.
Join Hwee for asanas and pranayama practice for meditation to happen and Reiki healing!
Hwee is also proficient in Chinese and Japanese language. Please also follow her on Instagram and Facebook @NamasteWithHwee

Book Exchange and Slow Horses by Mick Herron
Join us for Slow Horses and a Book Exchange!
In addition to our usual chat about the book, weāll be exchanging books. Bring two books youāre willing to part with and weāll exhange books.
\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-
Welcome to the thrilling and unnervingly prescient world of the slow horses. This team of MI5 agents is united by one common bond: They've screwed up royally and will do anything to redeem themselves. This special tenth-anniversary deluxe edition of a modern classic includes a foreword by the author, discussion questions for book clubs, and an exclusive short story featuring the slow horses. London, England: Slough House is where washed-up MI5 spies go to while away what's left of their failed careers. The "slow horses," as they're called, have all disgraced themselves in some way to get relegated there. Maybe they botched an Op so badly they can't be trusted anymore. Maybe they got in the way of an ambitious colleague and had the rug yanked out from under them. Maybe they just got too dependent on the bottle-not unusual in this line of work. One thing they have in common, though, is they want to be back in the action. And most of them would do anything to get there-even if it means having to collaborate with one another. When a young man is abducted and his kidnappers threaten to broadcast his beheading live on the Internet, the slow horses see an opportunity to redeem themselves. But is the victim really who he appears to be?
