Using a walk through the streets of Barcelona as practice, I will guide you in a mindfulness meditation which will help you get out of your head, bringing attention to your senses and the felt sensations in the body, stepping into deeper awareness of yourself, making your experience of the city even more magical and vibrant. We will begin our time together in the hidden oasis of carrer d’Allada Vermell, in the barrio of El Born, with an initial guided meditation. From this point of connection to yourself, anchored in the present, will we continue the practice walking through El Born with its winding streets and surprises around every corner. ¿Qué hacemos? A las 20:00h tenemos una meditación budista guiada. La meditación tiene una duración de unos 25 minutos y es accesible y beneficiosa para personas de todos los niveles de experiencia. ¡AVISO! Si es tu primer dia te esperamos 10 minutos antes. ¡Estaremos encatados de recibirte! ¿Qué es el Camino del Diamante? El Buda dio instrucciones a tres clases de personas. Las primeras que deseaban evitar el sufrimiento recibieron las enseñanzas sobre Causa y Efecto, llamadas Camino Angosto (Hinayana). El segundo tipo de personas sentía la necesidad de beneficiar a los demás, por lo que les dio enseñanzas sobre compasión y sabiduría, llamadas Gran Camino (Mahayana). Finalmente a las personas que tenían una confianza sólida en su propio potencial y en de los demás, el Buda explicó enseñanzas del Camino del Diamante (Vajrayana). En este último nivel utilizamos métodos de identificación con la meta y actuamos como un Buda hasta que llegamos a ser como él. En el nivel más elevado, la meta, es el completo desarrollo de la mente, a lo cual denominó el Gran Sello (Mahamudra). ¿Quiénes somos? El Centro Budista Camino del Diamante de Barcelona forma parte de los más de 700 centros de meditación a nivel internacional de la tradición Karma Kagyu del Budismo Tibetano. Estos centros han sido fundados y guiados por Lama Ole Nydahl y su esposa Hannah Nydahl, de acuerdo con los deseos de H. H. XVI Karmapa. Ahora están bajo la guía espiritual de H.H. XVII Gyalwa Karmapa, Trinley Thaye Dorje. Nuestro centro está formado por personas que tienen sus propios trabajos e incorporan las enseñanzas y las meditaciones del Camino del Diamante en sus vidas cotidianas. **Insight Circle** Connect deeply, developing greater intimacy, with yourself and others, in this **Relational** **Mindfulness Practice** in the form of a conversation. We will practice **observing without judgement**, what’s happening in us and between us, in the moment, as we relate to each other. **Observing sensations, emotions and thoughts** so that we get a complete picture of what it’s like to be us. In this way, we learn to **lead ourselves** through **greater awareness** of the moment, and cultivate our own **inner knowing**. Through exercises introduced at the beginning of each session, we will gradually develop our capacity together to **be present** with what is and listen deeply to ourselves and others. **This practice can help you:** * Connect to your emotions, and * Be more at ease and alignment in your body and mind. * Get inspiration. * Develop intuition to help you make decisions. * Improve your relationships and connect with others on a much deeper level. * Become unstuck in different areas of your life and take action. La identificación con alguien, con unas características, con una situación, con unas circunstancias, con una edad..., hace sufrir y nos cierra. No podemos decir que soy mi profesión, o que soy esto o lo otro. No puedes ya que cambias y además ¿cual es tu esencia? Tu esencia no tiene forma y es un espacio abierto en que no eres así o asá. Si entras en ti, en tu ser real, no puedes identificarte con nada, solo sentir paz y amor. Tu ser esencial no es inseguro, o muy sensible, o inteligente, o tonto. Y no puede ser maltratado, ni siquiera es lo que te dices. Ninguna categoría habla de ti. Al decirnos que somos lo que sea, lo alimentamos y aumenta, nos enganchamos a la forma, tenemos que defender ideas, opiniones, y nos esclavizamos a eso. El resultado es que tú disminuyes. Nuestra esencia es libre, pacífica y feliz. Si al **SOL que** **eres** le despejas las nubes, lo que crees que te define, lo que te condiciona, queda el sol. Pero siempre estamos buscando como si tuviéramos que encontrar o encontrarnos. Pero ¿y si estuviéramos presentes?... ¿Qué es estar presentes? We will focus on the artist that is already inside of you, using this space not to critique or judge but to create, play, and cultivate. This is an in-person meeting. Did you know that unwanted emotions like loneliness, sadness, hopelessness, anger, fear, anxiety, or feelings of irritation don’t just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not chemical imbalance in your brain due to some nebulous chemical reactions by chance. Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you. The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life.
