Architecture & Development in the New
Architecture & Development in the New
We are living through one of the most transformative shifts in software development history. AI is accelerating the pace of change faster than our architectures, teams, and processes can keep up — and that raises hard questions we can no longer defer. This meetup brings together engineers, architects, and tech leaders to have an honest conversation about where we are headed. **Topics we'll explore:** * **AI Burnout & the Human Side of Acceleration** — What happens to developers when the tools move faster than the people using them? * **Supervising AI Models in Production** — Who is responsible when the model decides? * **Brain Drain & Talent Shifts** — Is the industry losing deep expertise to abstraction layers? * **The Future of SDLC** — How do we design software lifecycles when generation is instant but understanding is not? * **Future Interfaces** — What will human-computer interaction look like in 5 years? * **Mass Code & Maintainability** — Are we building a mountain of technical debt we will never be able to climb? * **Security by Architecture** — How do we ensure end-to-end security when the stack is more complex than ever? 📅 **Date:** June 16th 🕕 **Time:** 18:00 📍 **Location:** Accenture Börsengebäude, Schottenring 16, Wien 1010, Future Camp **Headline Speaker:** "How the SDLC changed with AI" , Michael Polonskiy **Panel:** * Michael Polonskiy, Accenture * Mathias, Dangl, Fab4mind * David Leitner, SQUER * Peter Jaschke, Accenture * Bernhard Goetzendorfer, AI Factory

Comedy im Keller – Wiens Underground-Stand-up Open-Mic @TheComedyPub
Comedy im Keller – Wiens Underground-Stand-up Open-Mic @TheComedyPub
**[BUCH DEINEN PLATZ IM KELLER HIER!!!](https://www.universe.com/events/comedy-im-keller-wiens-underground-stand-up-open-mic-thecomedypub-tickets-30RBKX?ref=MeetUp)** **Deutschsprachiges Comedy Open Mic in Wiens schönstem Keller. #ComedyImKeller #ComedyWien #StandupWien #OpenMicWien #DeutschComedy #WienLacht #ComedyNightWien #ComedyClubWien #StandupComedyWien #LachenInWien #ComediansWien #LiveComedyWien #ComedyFansWien #ComedySzeneWien #KellerComedy #ComedyShowWien #WienEvents #WienNightlife #ComedyLovers #WienOpenMic #GermanComedy #ComedyVienna #ViennaComedy #StandupVienna #ViennaEvents #ViennaNightlife #ViennaOpenMic #ViennaStandup #ViennaFun #ViennaUnderground #ComedyLifeWien #WienHumor #StandupSceneWien #LaughsInVienna #ComedySpotWien #FunnyInWien #AltbaukellerComedy #ViennaLaughs #DienstagWien #UndergroundComedy

Science and Philosophy Discussion Table
Science and Philosophy Discussion Table
This is a group for meeting new people, eating brunch, and having discussions about science, life, philosophy, politics, and people. Anybody is free to join, and we charge no fees. This discussion group aims to have the absolute minimal level of structure necessary to ensure the conversation remains engaging to the majority of people present. In particular, we \*don't\* have fixed order of speaking or timed statements. So far, the balance we've struck is enforcing hand raising when conversation gets intense in order to minimize interruption, and to give the chair (me!) the power to occasionally call a snap election on the conversation topic.

👉 **RSVP now!** Die Plätze sind begrenzt, also melde dich bitte an.

**Important time note:** Please plan on arriving between 5:30 and 6:00 as the elevators lock after 6 and you'll need to message us and we'll need to come get you. The building address is 4450 Bridge Park The entrance is 6620 Mooney St, Suite 400 You will need to scan your ID at the door to get a visitor badge. **Abstract** *Customize the IDE: Building Extensions for Visual Studio Code* Visual Studio Code is one of the most widely used development environments today, and much of its flexibility comes from its extension ecosystem. Extensions allow developers to customize the editor with new features, integrations, and workflow improvements tailored to their needs. In this session, we’ll cover what extensions are and the different types available, including full extensions written in TypeScript or JavaScript, along with lighter-weight extensions such as color themes, language packs, language support, code snippets, and keymaps. We’ll also look at practical reasons a developer might create an extension, from automating repetitive tasks to adding custom tooling. The session includes a hands-on walkthrough of creating a new extension, testing it locally, and understanding the basic project structure. We’ll close with a brief overview of how extensions are packaged and published to the Visual Studio Marketplace and other distribution options. **YouTube Link** TBD
Smart Search + AI: An Outcome-Driven Journey from IDP to a Suite of AI
Smart Search + AI: An Outcome-Driven Journey from IDP to a Suite of AI
Over a billion documents processed. Millions of Veterans impacted. Hundreds of thousands of employee hours saved. Faster decisions. Greater accuracy. More benefits in the hands of our disabled Veterans. We created Smart Search, the world’s largest consumer of Amazon Textract, right when GenAI began reshaping what’s possible. Since then, we’ve built a suite of AI‑driven solutions that transform this data into real, measurable outcomes—accelerating benefits decisions for our Nation’s Veterans. Join us for a focused conversation on how an outcome‑driven approach to AI is helping us boost accuracy, streamline workflows, and deliver faster results for those who have served. This is a follow up to the AWS re:Invent 2023 "Intelligent Document Processing with Gen AI for Public Sector" presentation. The session will also be streamed at **[https://twitch.tv/TaleLearnCode](https://twitch.tv/TaleLearnCode)**. This month, we’ll dive into the most important announcements from **Microsoft Build 2026**. Chad Green will present a curated, developer‑focused walkthrough of the new capabilities across .NET, Azure, AI, developer tooling, and platform updates. We’ll explore what these announcements mean for architects and developers, how they fit into real‑world solutions, and which changes you can start applying immediately in your projects. And then, Rob Richardson will present: ### **GitOps: Easy Deploy and Even Easier Rollback** GitOps isn't just for containers. The methodology of deploying from a build is now baked into our culture. Take it a touch farther with infrastructure as code and a few extra techniques, and you can reliably deploy to any platform: cloud, on-prem, container, PaaS, and more. Join us as we learn the methodology of GitOps, the critical pieces you need in place, and the elegance of rollbacks with GitOps. You'll leave with a working repo of deployment techniques that doesn't consume any paid tools or container-specific techniques. **Important:** To participate fully, please RSVP in **both** places: * **Louisville .NET Meetup** (this page) * **Microsoft Build //localhost:louisville registration**: [https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/reactor/events/27112/](https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/reactor/events/27112/) After the session, we’ll head to Brick House Tavern to continue the conversation over food and drinks.

AWS Columbus: Smart Search + AI: An Outcome-Driven Journey
Title: Smart Search + AI: An Outcome-Driven Journey from IDP to a Suite of AI Register at the Columbus AWS meetup: [https://www.meetup.com/columbus-aws-amazon-web-services-meetup/events/313426379/](https://www.meetup.com/columbus-aws-amazon-web-services-meetup/events/313426379/) Over a billion documents processed.
