**NEW UPDATE:** Additional members of the cubing community have reached out to me and we all agree, the more cubing the better! I have removed the 12 person limit and we are adding an overflow cube for those also interested in non vintage type cubes! For the foreseeable future this guest cube will be Alex's Enchantment Cube [Enchanted to Meet You](https://cubecobra.com/cube/list/enchantedCube)! Priority will still fall to firing the vintage cube but what this means is if we reach 12 members we can offer the option to fire both cubes at 6 and 6 or just the vintage cube at 2 pods each. \*\*Well folks, it looks like the District Trivia game will be coming to an end at the end of this week, so let's get in one more game at this new venue.\*\* True Food Kitchen is a restaurant in the Mosaic District of Merrifield serving lots of healthy food, with some of it actually being palatable. It it a mellow and relaxing place to play! Parking is available in the adjacent "Market Garage" (that also houses Target). Team limit for this event is EIGHT people. Event schedule: **30-minute Introduction:** Get checked in to the facilty, learn the basics of pickleball and get ready to play! **1 Hour of Court Time:** Get on the court with 6 players per court - 4 will play while 2 observe, learn & rotate in every few minutes. **30-Minute Decompress & Social Time:** Wind down at the onsite restaurant & bar, where you can refuel, hydrate, and be social! Join DC Metro Crafts for an additional meetup this month, this time in NW at the MLK LIbrary in Chinatown. We'll be in room 401-A. Bring your own cross stitch, knitting, crochet, or other portable craft.

Vintage handkerchiefs have wonderful graphics, perfect to create a crazy Quilt. We will cut our pieces using the **[Crazier Eights Template Quilt Ruler](https://artisticartifacts.com/products/crazier-eights-template-creative-grids-quilt-ruler)** by *Creative Grids USA* to create a small wall hanging. Working with vintage linens requires some special tricks Judy will cover in class. After we have sewn our blocks into a small quilt, we will use our machine’s decorative stitches using size 12 threads to sew patterns on our quilts. We will end class discussing adding buttons and beads for further embellishing as well as how to finish the quilt to hang.
