Artistic Artifacts hosts **Open Stitch sessions on the first and third Thursday evenings** from 5:30 - 7:30 pm — join us! The original route description follows: Join us for a flat, go-at-your-own-pace hike with options of 14 or 15 miles on a pleasant, wooded trail with little elevation change along Accotink Creek in Fairfax County. Starting at the Audrey Moore Recreation Center in Wakefield Park, Annandale VA, both hike options go northwest to Thaiss Park in Fairfax via the Gerald Connolly Cross County Trail (CCT) before returning to Wakefield Park and continuing south. The 14-mile hike continues to a green 2.0-mile post at a trail junction with a kiosk and bench. Turn around at the post and return to the recreation center. We will be playing **Tapestry** with up to 5 players. All experience levels welcome. Expect the game teach to start promptly within the first 10 minutes. In **Tapestry** players create their civilization by choosing how to advance on 4 advancement tracks (science, technology, exploration, and military) to earn progressively better benefits. Along the way, you will also improve your income, build your capital city, leverage your unique abilities, earn victory points, and gain tapestry cards that will tell the story of your civilization.
